Walk into the Grass And Press SELECT just as you reach an encounter... well you could just hold it down while in the grass. I figured out that the pokemon were counted in hexidecimal and not just decimal... anyway just fill in the missing space (***) with the three numbers following the equal sign after the pokemons name.

Code

..."The code of the streets is actually a cultural adaptation to a profound lack of faith in the police and the judicial system. The police are most often seen as representing the dominant white society and not caring to protect inner- city residents. When called, they may not respond, which is one reason many residents feel they must be prepared to take extraordinary measures to defend themselves and their loved ones against those who are inclined to aggression. Lack of police accountability has in fact been incorporated into the status system: the person who is believed capable of "taking care of himself" is accorded a certain deference, which translates into a sense of physical and psychological control. Thus the street code emerges where the influence of the police ends and personal responsibility for one's safety is felt to begin. Exacerbated by the proliferation of drugs and easy access to guns, this volatile situation results in the ability of the street oriented minority (or those who effectively "go for bad") to dominate the public spaces." (Anderson, Code of the Street). Anderson main argument in his research is that the behavior of many youths is influenced by the street culture or code. This “code” governs how youth from the inner city will react in a violent manor when faced with impersonal attacks or any show of disrespect. Through Anderson’s study he was able to give us the day to day struggle for some inner city children, and why they were unable to express......

Code of Conduct

...Cheesecake Factory Code of Conduct Professor Mandiveyi December 15, 2013 Introduction to Business Bus 100 Abstract This paper discusses key areas of interest within the Cheesecake Factory’s code of conduct, which will also identify the significant importance of the code of conduct and why it is important to the success of the Cheesecake Factory. This paper will also explain how the code of conduct can be implemented by the company, checks and balances to measure adherence to the code, and lastly, three ways the restaurant can engage in socially responsive activities in the community in which it operates. The Cheesecake Factory has a rather large code of conduct. There are a few specific ideas within the code of conduct that is of significant importance to the Cheesecake Factory’s business. It is imperative that this code of conduct is established because staff members must understand the Cheesecake Factory’s ethics and belief system in comparison to other organizations because it may differ with regards to cultural content, values, and ordering of beliefs (McShane & Von, 2005). The first significant idea in the code of conduct is conflict of interest. The company specifically states that an employee must avoid situations in which a conflict of interest would exist or have the appearance of a conflict of interest. This is extremely important to the business because it will prevent employees from having the appearance of giving preferential treatment to......

Instant Replay in Baseball

...Instant Replay in Baseball As of now, the only use of instant replay in baseball is to decide whether what appears to be a homerun is indeed a homerun. However, recent talks have began to arise on the expansion of this so called tool. These talks began after a controversial call that occurred a couple months ago between the Detroit Tigers and the Cleveland Indians. The Tigers pitcher, Armando Galarraga, had a perfect game going into the ninth until the first base umpire made a close call resulting in a hit. After a slow motion replay on T.V, it was clear that the umpire missed the call causing an uproar of critics, claiming baseball needs instant replay to save this from happening again. To prevent a once in a life time perfect game from being taken away due to a missed call. I disagree with this immediate request. Further use of instant replay in baseball would ruin the game America has enjoyed for a century. The main argument for instant replay is so that bad calls by umpires can be over turned. It would eliminate the need for raging manager arguments and ejections. It would make the league mistake free. I believe these mistakes are actually good for the game. Baseball fans enjoy watching the managers scream into the umpires' faces while vigorously throwing his arms up in the air. It adds a surge of energy through those in the crowd and those watching at home. It also gives his team motivation to play hard because they know that their coach has their back...

Actions

...his or her actions and behaviors depending on the scenario or the type of situation at hand. Values are established and implanted in the early stages of life, but each individual person interprets his or her own values differently, and their actions and behaviors show how values are being perceived and displayed by the individual. People act off of their individual values that are embedded within them, and the actions and behaviors of individuals are a mere image reflection of his or her personal values. Dr. Pepper states “that diversity drives our success and helps us win in the marketplace” (Dr. Pepper, 2012). That is why Wal-Mart is such a number one leading diverse company that keeps growing and expanding services worldwide. The ability to analyze the alignment between personal values, actions and behaviors is being able to achieve the understanding of values and how it leads one actions and behaviors. Individual values that demonstrate positive attitude, positive thinking, and wanting to positively achieve established goals leads to positive actions, behaviors and outcomes. Wal-Mart core values are incorporated into the culture and belief of the company which is to provide service to customers, respect for all individuals, continue to strive for excellence, and always act with integrity. Wal-Mart continues to promote values positively through the employees that work for the company because it builds a bond, a stronger company, promotes positive behavior, actions,......

Ethic Actions

...University of Phoenix Material Ethical Actions Worksheet Write a 100- to 150-word response to each of the following questions: Was there anything in either the University Of Phoenix Student Code Of Conduct or the Student Code of Academic Integrity that surprised you? If so, what was it? Why were you surprised? If not, why not? Actually, everything listed in the Student Code of Conduct and the Student Code of Academic Integrity seemed normal to me. There was one thing though. In the testing, one of the questions gave an example that a student brought a knife in his lunch. I understand how a knife can be used as a weapon however; I don’t think that should count as breaking the rules. If the student actually wanted to harm someone, I do not believe the weapon would be with his lunch. And in that case, would a butter knife be considered a weapon? You can do more damage to someone with a text book or pencil than you could with a butter knife. What did you learn about the behaviors considered important for an ethical learner or student in the University of Phoenix learning community? I learned quiet a lot in the behaviors portion. I have always said “It is your life, live it the way you want.” Well I never thought that if, for example, my roommate was drinking and throwing parties every night it would affect me studying or completing my work. Vis versa also! You have to take into question how your actions are going to affect the people around you. If you study......

Code of Ethics

...The American Cancer Society Ethics Codes Heather HCS435 – Ethics: Health Care and Social Responsibility April 5, 2010 Professor: Beryl Keegan The American Cancer Society Ethics Codes Every organization, whether it have employees or is based on volunteer work has a code of ethics that it requires its personnel to follow.  The American Cancer Society is no different.  The code of ethics clearly defines the goals and ethical principles of the organization, as well as how to protect an individual when reporting a co-worker who is performing in an unethical manner, also called the whistleblower protection policy.  An outsider’s opinion on enhancing this code as well as ideas on how to make it better is also looked at, so that the code is always clear and maintains understandability. The definition of goals for the organization, within the code of ethics, is very important, as it lays out the groundwork for each society. The American Cancer Society code of ethics sets their goals early on in the code and states that their goal is to “provide evidence of the Society’s commitment to the lawful and ethical conduct of its business and to promote lawful and ethical behavior by its associates” (American Cancer Society, 2008). This particular code is asking each of its members to act honestly and fairly and to exercise the best judgment, care, and skill for the sole benefit of the society (ACS, 2008). In the long run, all this code is asking for is that each member of......

Action

...WHAT IS ACTION PLANNING?   You've got to be very careful if you don't know where you are going because you might not get there.  Yogi Berra Action planning is a process which will help you to focus your ideas and to decide what steps you need to take to achieve particular goals that you may have. It is a statement of what you want to achieve over a given period of time. Preparing an action plan is a good way to help you to reach your objectives in life: don't worry about the future, start planning for it! It involves: * Identifying your objectives * Setting objectives which are achievable & measurable. * Prioritising your tasks effectively. * Identifying the steps needed to achieve your goals. * Using lists. * Being able to work effectively under pressure. * Completing work to a deadline. * Having a contingency plan   Click on any of the boxes in the chart above to take you to the relevant part of this page/other related pages or click here for a larger version of the chart. Writing down your goals turns them into a plan, not a dream. A study of 327 job seekers by Daniel Turban of University of Missouri College of Business found that writing a plan at the start of your job search, has a big impact on success: make a plan and continuously assess your progress."Thinking about a plan, acting on a plan and reflecting upon that a plan were important early in the job search while having positive emotions were important later in the job......
