The three different aspects of my writing that I wish to improve are APA format, coming up with a main topic, grammar. These different things have always been an issue with me. I will stress out over a paper and then end up doing it an hour before it is due. I plan on studying more on APA format so I can cite better. I plan on bouncing ideas off of my husband and daughter. I think they would give me good feedback. I need to start on my papers early that way I am not waiting till the last minute.
The Problem that I would like to try to solve in my community is trying to get a Rec center/ boys and girls club in this town or even a nearby town. We have nothing here for any kids do after school or in the summer. All we have in this town is a swimming pool. This town is a small town with an hub station for BNSF and a training site for the national guard. I like this topic for the main reason before I moved to this town I lived in a town that had a rec center. My children enjoyed it every day and during the summer. They would attend different sporting events, learned how to interact with other people outside the school. I feel like I can find a lot of different research on this topic, the pros and the cons of a rec center.…...

Without exigence, students lack the essential part of writing that recognizes a purpose, a cause, and the intended effect a writer wants the audience to have. Exigence is the compelling force a person feels from an event or circumstance to urgently respond to and impact an audience. For example, MLK’s most famous speech “I Have a Dream” was given as a response to the inequality in the U.S. and spoken with the intent to create a society without prejudice. There were points that told us to create outlines and make notes ,two practices that I am very familiar with as I use them for my writings.
