Brian Tracy- The Way to Wealth: Success Strategies of the Wealthy Entrepreneur

Brian Tracy is Chairman and CEO of Brian Tracy International, a company specializing in the training and development of individuals and organizations. His goal is to help everyday people, such as ourselves, achieve their personal and business goals faster than and even easier than imagined. Brian has consulted for more than 1,000 companies and spends his time talking at business and entrepreneur seminars throughout the United States, Canada, as well as 55 other countries nationwide. He has done research, lots of studies, written over 45 books, and spoken for over 30 years motivating and promoting his audience and clientele. Brian Tracy focuses in the areas of economics, history, business, psychology, and philosophy. In addition, he also speaks to public and corporate audiences discussing the subjects of personal and professional development-, which includes some of the top executives of many of America’s largest corporations. He has had many successful careers in sales and marketing, investments, real estate development, distribution and management consulting.

According to Brian Tracy, there are four keys to successful sales and marketing. First, specialization. He says you must specialize in a particular customer, or specific market area. You must also make it known to yourself and everyone else you will deal with that this is your specific area of specialization- this is for your target audience. Second, is differentiation. Brian states that in order to be successful in any business, you must have a competeive advantage. This is an area that makes you different or better than any of the competition. Your competitve advantage must be something that meets your targeted customers wants, needs, and values. Third key is segmentation. This is the process of identifying your ideal customers, and how your product will be any better than anyone else’s. Lastly, concentration. This consists of concentrating on all of your sales, marketing and business efforts for contacting and reaching out to these potential clients who can benefit and enjoy from you better than any other competition on the market.

There are also 7 top steps to selling more of your product and services. First step is prospecting. Second, establishing rapport- which is your ability to build and trust and have confidence in your prospective customer. Third step is identifying this audience’s needs accurately. Fourth is presentation-which speaks for itself. Fifth, answering objectives. The sixth top step is closing the sale. Last, but not least, getting resales and referrals is what will keep you going and cause you to be successful in today’s economy.

According to Tracy, there are four ways to move faster down the road to wealth. First, you can always do more of certain things. Next, you can always do less of other things. Third, you have the ability to start up something brand new- something you have never accomplished before. Lastly, you can stop certain activities all together. Always asking yourself, “What should I do more of, less of, start or stop?”
According to Brian Tracy in “The Road To Wealth” you have three concerns. First, and maybe most important, is to apply the 80/20 rule to all of your activities, customers, sales and advertising, services, people, and the cash flow. This means that 20% of your activities will account for 80% of your results. This is an important areas to focus and concentrate on while on the way to wealth.
The key to success on the road to wealth is always to add value! All success comes from adding value in one way or another. You add value by finding a service that the people are going to want or need, and then by offering that product or service in a quality and quantity that the targeted audience is willing to pay for, and of course be satisfied with.
I definitely agree with Brian Tracy and his books and strategies. I don’t even think that it’s so much he has a special or “unique” secret for becoming a successful entrepreneur. I think it is more common sense, motivation, and determination. I believe that if any person wants to become successful in today’s economic world they need to acquire all of the things mentioned above. Yes, Tracy has some excellent advice and I do believe that he can help set people on the right path when it comes to self-esteem and teaching the most important strategies for heading down the road to wealth. Although, I really do believe some of us are born with this quality and some not so much. We must find it within ourselves to be honest, hardworking, successful and motivated!…...

Brian Wells Case Study

...Was Brian Wells a Victim? Christopher Seymour Professor Ann Burgess Victimology November 19, 2012   Seymour 1 INTRODUCTION Early on the morning of August 23, 2003, Brian Wells walked into the Erie Pennsylvania PNC bank and calmly handed over a note to the teller –‘Gather employees with access codes to vault and work fast to fill bag with $250,000, you have 15 minutes.’ Wells picked up a dumdum lollypop and casually waited. He was armed with a shotgun disguised as a cane and had a large collar brace under his t-shirt that he claimed was a bomb. Quickly apprehended by Pennsylvania State Police, Wells claimed that three African American men forcibly attached the bomb to him, and he was ordered to rob the bank. Though a bomb squad was called, the bomb attached to Brian Wells detonated while he sat handcuffed surrounded by police. The FBI investigation that followed sought to uncover who was involved in the planning, and whether Brian Wells was a victim or conspirator. While the facts of the case suggest that Wells was involved in the bank robbery, the actions of three others – Marjorie Diehl Armstrong, Ken Barnes, and Bill Rothstein caused the plan to spiral out of control and left a deceased Brian Wells as a victim in this tragedy. SUMMARY OF THE CRIME On the morning of August 23rd, Brian Wells was working his shift as a pizza deliveryman, the same job he had held since dropping out of high school 30 years prior. According to initial statements by Wells, he...

Tim O’ Brian

...Tim O’ Brian There are many important factors in the novel The Things They Carried but the most important one was the concept of the female warrior being better than the male warrior. The character Mary Anne proves this point exceptionally. Although Mary Anne seems like a regular innocent girl, I contend that she became the most skillful and toughest soldier, because she was so close to the war and felt like it was where she belongs. Mary Anne is always looking for adventure. In a way she is almost fearless. Instead of being scared she thrives for adventure. When Mary Anne kept asking to visit the village everyone kept saying it was dangerous but she did not listen. She wanted to see how people lived, “The war intrigued her, the land too, and the mystery. At the beginning of her second week she began pestering Mark Fossie to take her out to the village even though it was dangerous and a bad idea” (91). She is always looking forward to adventure and she wasn’t even scared. The guys kept saying that it was dangerous and a bad idea but she didn’t listen. Mary Anne was also a quick learner. She didn’t waste her time doing nothing, she was always productive with her time. She wanted to learn new things and she learned them very well. She was very concentrative and serious about learning new things, “She was curious about things. During her first day she liked to roam around the compound asking questions. She had a quick mind and paid attention” (91). She was very curious...

...Legalization of Marijuana Brian S. Clear HU2740 28 August 2013 Marijuana dates back many years, and has been used throughout different cultures in various ways. Over the last few years however Marijuana has been used to fit our lifestyles and social environment in many ways. In our society today many people around the world smoke Marijuana for different reasons like medical purposes, with that being said I think Marijuana should be legalized permanently as it has many beneficial uses, including easing pain, it would help the United States get further out of debt. Legalizing Marijuana would also create jobs for many people lowering the unemployment rate in the United States. Marijuana whose scientific name is Cannabis Sativa has been mentioned in manuscripts dating back to 2700 B.C. in China. The Jamestown settlers recorded that they had first planted the crop in 1611, as they used the hemp from the plant’s fibers to make rope and canvas. Marijuana also known as ‘weed’ was used to make clothing, as the plant was very durable. During that time Marijuana was used more for survival far more than any other purpose. Marijuana came into play with the scarcity of alcohol during the prohibition era. The use of the drug rose from there, and became a large problem in the Unites States. The United States is one of those countries that can immensely benefit from the legalization of Marijuana use. In the United States, Marijuana is the most widely used controlled......

Essay on Brian Main

Left Brain vs Right Brian

...Left Brain Vs. Right Brian The brain is an incredibly complex organ with differentiated parts that work in mysterious ways. It’s also a self-organized structure that is highly connected. According to Eric Jensen, author of The New Paradigm of Teaching, “Much of the original work of Nobel Laureate Roger Spietry, who discovered the functioning differences between the left and right hemispheres of the brain, remains valid today. But the spin put on his research also remains today (Eric J. 2008).” Today research still goes on trying to achieve more knowledge about the brain. Ask you, how the left does and right brain impacts learning. In this paper I’ll be sharing with you the fact from research and how it impacts our learning. Research identifies the left-brain as the “academic brain,” because educators generally emphasize its processes in the traditional everyday classroom, resulting in certain groups using hemisphere specialization to explain limitations of traditional learning. Although the left brain may be more dominant for calculation, math and logical abilities, it has no biological mandate for language, but it does contain soft biases in information processing that are preferential to language skills. The right brain is the side that is most known for its intuitive, holistic, and synthesizing. The right hemisphere is intuitive and responds to demonstrated instructions. It also problem solves with hunches and looks for patterns and configurations.......

The Case of Tracy Latimer

...The Case of Tracy Latimer Applied Ethics Paper Summer 2013 Murder, the word sounds very ominous. When one thinks of murder they tend to be morally outraged. Morality, now that word sounds like a very simple concept. Unfortunately it is not simple when dealing with the concept of right and wrong because there are many separate and different ways to view morality. And as such murder at times is not always murder but could be defined as mercy. In the case of a 12 year old child name Tracy Latimer the concept of morality and murder become even murkier. Within this essay I am going to attempt to describe, evaluate and critically lay out both sides of morality in reference to this action of depraved murder verse mercy killing, of a handicapped child. Tracy Latimer was a 12 year old child who unfortunately was born with cerebral palsy. Because of her condition Tracy weighed just under 40 pounds, had the mentality of a three month old infant, and was subjected to countless surgeries. In 1993 Tracy’s father, Robert Latimer carried his daughter out of their house and placed her in the cab of his truck where he then proceeded to intentionally fill the cab of the truck with exhaust fumes until his daughter was dead. In lemans terms he poisoned his child with exposure to carbon monoxide. Viewing this from an ethical standpoint of morals, we now have to question if Mr. Latimer was morally justified for his actions or not. Was this a condonable mercy killing or was it cold blooded......

Brians Winter

...The climax is when a gargantious bear attacks Brian's shelter. Almost everything he had salvaged from the plane wreckage and from the wilderness was destroyed. At the end of the story a plane noticed Brian and came to rescue him. Come to find out, he didn't want to leave. The book is about a thirteen-year-old boy who is stuck in the wilderness because he was traveling to his father's oilrig in Washington. He has to find his own food and supplies. He does find some things from the plane. For example: A small rifle, blanket, cooking utensils, and other things. His first big kill when he went hunting was a moose. The second encounter with a big animal was the bear. The main character is Brian, the boy stuck in the wilderness. The part I liked most was when Brian rigged up his machine to go to the bottom of the pond to get things from the plane. My least favorite part was at the end when they brought up the Indians who had been there the whole time.I would recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure books. It has some very suspenseful times and it is sometimes funny because of the stupid things the characters do. The only bad part of the book is the very ending. The Indians don't really make sense because if they had been there the whole time then they would have met Brian and helped him out. I would rate this story a 9 on the story scale. It’s a very good book. So in conclusion , this is one of the best books I’ve read. I would have gaven it a 10. But the Idians in......

This review will focus on 3 major things Epstein did to help the Beatles success which emerge repeatedly throughout the literature reviewed. These are: His absolute belief in the band, his vision for the bands’ image, and the Beatles musicality. This paper will primarily focus on whether Epstein contribution to The Beatles success merits a place in the ‘Rock n Roll Hall of Fame Non-Performer Area’. According to Spitz (2005) and Riley (2011) there are two different theories about how Epstein was introduced to the music of the Beatles. Epstein himself states that he was first introduced to the Beatles from a customer Raymond Jones when he requested a copy of ‘My Bonnie’ from the NEMS record store that Epstein managed as part of the family business. “I had never [before] given a thought to any of the Liverpool beat groups then up and coming [sic] in the cellar clubs” (Spitz, 2005, p.266). While Riley (2011) argues that Epstein knew about the Beatles long before he let on. As a prominent record store manager,......

The entrance to the museum is very historical because the outside structure is similar to a palace where kings and queens lived. In order to get in the museum, you have to stand in line and when you get to the front desk, you have to either pay or show an ID if you are a college students. While in line, you can view the televisions above the front desk, which give ticket prices and such. After that, you walk to where security checks your ticket and then lets you in. If you have a bag, they will give you a ticket of some sort for you to come back and get it. The security there is very strict about the policies of the museum such as no touching whatsoever. 3. Two of the areas that I visited in the museum were the Secrets of Tomb 10A: Egypt 2000 B.C. and the exhibit of Albrecht Dürer who was known as aVirtuoso Printmaker. 4. The Egyptian exhibit had a dark setting to it with its historical accuracy. Being in the Egyptian exhibit was extremely exciting for me because since I am a fan of ancient Egypt, I was able to view several fragments, sculptures and tombs that once existed during that time period. Being in Albrecht’s room of prints was different because I hadn’t heard of him when it comes to art, so I was able to have a fresh start. I learned that he was the pivotal figure of Late Gothic and High Renaissance German art. 5. One......

Rosewood Tracy

...Rosewood Tracy Last night I heard the screams. It was just another sleepless night for me, I figured it wouldn’t do any good to call the police. They always come late, if they even come at all. I found myself sleepless, lying in bed thinking about the day. I recalled the two elderly men, who had me questioning their conversation all day, playing chess in the park. I couldn’t help but to hear what they were talking about as it bellowed throughout the park. I heard,” Poor people are gonna rise and take what is theirs.” he yelled to his friend. I suppose he couldn’t understand his own volume, “the tables are starting to turn. They are wasting time standing in the unemployment line. All of them better run. The tables are starting to turn, better stop sitting around and just waiting around for a promotion.” The other, with a terribly long drawn out southern accent, kept asking,” who would cross them lines? Who would choose sides? I remember the night the riots began, they killed the dreams of America. That little black girl got assaulted, and nobody knew her name but before too long, everybody knew her name ‘cause she was the one being blamed. Two black boys got killed and a white boy goes blind, right there on the back streets of America.” I thought about what all that meant or if it even meant anything at all. I thought the southern mans accent and suspected he was from the south referring to racism, and the northern man talking about welfare and the poor. Being a middle...

Taking Action by Brian Tracy

...© Brian Tracy. All rights reserved. The contents, or parts thereof, may not be reproduced in any form for any purpose without the written permission of Brian Tracy. The Impact of Action The world seems to belong to those who reach out and grab it with both hands. It belongs to those who do something rather than just wish and hope and plan and pray, and intend to do something someday, when everything is just right. Successful people are not necessarily those who make the right decisions all the time. No one can do that, no matter how smart he is. But once successful people have made a decision, they begin moving toward their objectives stepby-step, and they begin to get feedback or signals to tell them where they’re off course and when course corrections are necessary. As they take action and move toward their goals, they continually get new information that enables them to adjust their plans in large and small ways. It’s important to understand that life is a series of approximations and course adjustments. Let me explain. When an airplane leaves Chicago for Los Angeles, it is off course 99 percent of the time. This is normal and natural and to be expected. The pilot makes continual course corrections, a little to the north, a little to the south. The pilot continually adjusts altitude and throttle. And sure enough, several hours later, the plane touches down at exactly the time predicted when it first became airborne upon leaving Chicago. The entire journey has been a......
