Business Plan This is a purposed business plan that will answer the questions of the individuals looking for answers to some questions regarding the operations of the business. This plan is designed to show a solid plan as to how the business will operate and how the accounting aspect of this business will be handled. The hope is that after reading this business plan the investor will have their questions answered in a way that will put them in a position where they will be willing to put up the capital for the start of this business. The name of the business which I am looking to start is Roundup Espresso. This business will be a partnership. The reason that I have chosen to make this business a partnership is because there will be more than one person who is an owner in the business. It will be a good plan for this business because it will allow the two of us to join economic resources and initiate the business (Kimmel, Weygandt, & Kieso, 2003) . Another reason that this business will be a partnership is because the other partner of this business will be able to bring a unique set of skills to the table in order to make the business run effectively. There will be a written partnership agreement in place deligating the duties and contributions of each partner. The types of service that will be provided at Roundup Espresso will be a relaxing environment where individuals can come and work on their school work or their work from their employment while enjoying a beverage and a friendly atmosphere. They will also be able to just come out to the Roundup Espresso and socialize and have a good time. The consumers of this business will also be offered small bakery items to go with their beverages. Accounting will play the vital role within this business. Accounting will be the base of this business. Accounting is very important because it helps…...

...My Business Shaye Rooks-Ellis Axia College of University of Phoenix If I wanted to create my own business, I would like a small company. I would want one in which I am entirely in charge, and that sold a product in which I have an interest. I want to be able to enjoy going to work and doing something artistic. The name of my new business will be Shaye’s Scrapbooking Supplies. My business will be a sole proprietorship. I chose this structure because I want to be in charge, and be able to make all my own decisions. My company will also be small, with just a few employees. My business will mainly be selling scrapbook supplies. These can include software or machines like Cricut, stickers, cardstock, scissors, tape or glue runners, and other accessories. I will also hold small scrapbooking sessions where I can teach customers different scrapbooking techniques. Customers will be charged for these classes. They will be required to use their own supplies, such as cardstock, stickers, or paper, but my software and other materials will be available for use free of additional charge. I think the scrapbooking classes will generate much income for my company. Because these classes will be relatively cheap for me to teach, they should have a high ratio regarding the cost my company will incur versus the profit my company will make. Additionally, because the customers will use their own materials, I think that creates a selling opportunity for my business. If a......

...for men. Yes, there are clothing stores, shoe stores, fitness stores, all present individually, but there are no such stores that can give away everything that that a man might need, altogether under one roof. This will give us a first mover advantage, and will ensure that we don’t have any current competitors as such. Furthermore, we are also planning to launch a conjoined entertainment hub, where people can enjoy themselves, by hanging-out, playing console games and watching league or national matches on large-screen TVs with their mates. So as it is evident, we are both a service as well as retail store. Here, diversification can be expanding into a new segment of an industry that the business is already in, or investing in a promising business outside of the scope of the existing business. Our product and services will be so diverse that it will promise to bring back good overall return values even if certain products do not sell well from our store. As far as our retail unit is concerned, these will be our products basically: * T-shirts, sports jerseys, Shoes * Gym Equipment * Hair-care products * Facial products * Body care creams/products * Shaving/grooming products * Perfumes/deodorants * Gaming instruments All of these core products will be branded and imported through reliable agents, to preserve credibility and to differentiate our store from all the other stores in shopping-malls who sell similar products. ..., A Business Plan ACC/220 Abstract I am basing this business plan off of mine and a friends hobby. We have had a hobby of making kids clothes and accessories over the past year that our husbands have been deployed. Not only have we talked about designs for the kids clothing and hair accessories, but we have dug a little deeper into business licenses, taxation, profit, and expenses. I am hoping that this business plan I am writing for my final assignment will actually be put to use and help us to possibly expand the hobby even further, and develop a basis for us to start a sole proprietorship. HazeRed Designs, A Business Plan Hello investors, and thank you for taking interest in HazeRed Designs. HazeRed Designs was started in 2010 as a hobby .but is on its way to becoming something bigger and better. We have chosen to make our company a sole proprietorship. Why sole proprietorship, you may ask, because tax liability will be low, we can switch to a partnership or corporation if the company succeeds, and we will not have to worry with having an actual place of business for now, we can still work from our homes! HazeRed Designs is a maker of childrens clothing and hair accessories, military and patriotic accessories such as wallets, the famous ACU pattern purses, and jewelry. All of our products are handcrafted, completely customizable, and already available for purchase on many online stores such as Etsy.com, and campbellyardsales.com. We order all of our......

...ACC 220 Final Project: Business Plan The business I have created is called Cash Express. This is a business that provides check cashing, bill pay, and short term loan services. This business will be classified as a Limited Liability Company (LLC). The limited liability company is a distinct business entity that combines the corporate advantage of limited liability protection with “pass-through” taxation, the method of taxation afforded to both general partnerships and S corporations. I chose this simply because of the nature of the business. Companies that are considered LLC allow the owner to be free of all responsibility relating to debt. If the business was to fail the owner would not be held personally responsible for any loss. Although I would be required to send annual reports to the government on my business, this is perfect because with this being a fairly brand new business there is room for failure and my personal finances should be protected. My business would simply cash checks, pay bills and lend short term loans. These services would mostly be used in urban neighborhoods, so that is where my locations will be. This will be a perfect place for individuals without bank accounts that need to cash checks. It also implements convenience because customers can save time and pay major utility bills as well as select others. The short term loans are given on the individual’s gross pay and as an added plus the loans have low interest rates, which......

The strategic “problem” that motivated this decision making is the well-known argument of the “moral and practical appropriateness of how much to pay, or on practical suggestions on how to pay.” (Fernández-Aráoz) In other words, it is more often focused on how much, or......

...Assignment: Final Project: Appeals Process Paper Tony Thomas CJS/220 Jerri Mauldin August 21, 2011 An appeal is when a person who is convicted of a crime or is told they can’t do a certain thing and the person submits questions in writing why this decision was made and wants the verdict and the case to be looked at another time. Most causes for an appeal is from people thinking they are innocent or have the right to do what they want where they want to do it. The way an appeals process can affect the overall criminal procedures or process is if the appeal gets looked at and the ruling from the previous judgment gets overturned. The reason the system is affected is it can set an innocent man free or let whoever continue on doing what they want to do. If someone is put in jail or prison for a crime they didn’t commit and they send up an appeal and it gets the ruling reversed it can mean that the case would be reopened because the person who actually committed the crime is still on the loose. It also interrupts the process of the system because everything that has been put in writing saying that this person was guilty has now got to be withdrawn from record. It also means that the person who is behind bars goes free. A good way to improve the appeals process is not letting them sit so long before being looked at. This is a big problem in some states and needs to be corrected. Even though forensic science has brought a lot of people to the surface that we......

...Training Group Business Plan Accounting 557 August 8, 2014 Expert Training Group Business Plan As an Army veteran of 30 years of military and contracting serve, training Soldiers have always been my passion. My expertise has always been military training. Although training Soldiers can be dangerous, it can also be very rewarding. I have witnessed the positive benefits of proper training and the dire consequences of poor training. I have continued serving the Army in the capacity as a government contractor when employed. Therefore, I am fluent with current training and doctrinal methodology. I am aware of areas in which the Army could use immediate assistant in the training of Initial Entry Soldiers (IET). Marksmanship training has always been an area in which the Army have continued to struggle. The basics of being an effective combat Soldier is to qualify with your assigned weapon (M4 carbine). All Soldiers must qualify with their weapon in order to graduate from basic training. The Army has infrequently placed a high precedence on marksmanship proficiency. The Afghanistan conflict is winding down. The Department of Defense will continue draw down the active duty forces in 2014. The goal of the reduction is to reduce the Army's manning structure to 490,000 in two years. These initiatives have effective the availability of much-needed training resources for all Soldiers. ...JaLynn Coombs BIS 220 January 16, 2012 Michael Chu Wireless Technologies Proposal Mobile computing and mobile commerce in addition to a traditional computer system is what Party Plates will use to house information for the company at one location that could be accessible by a wireless device as well. If Party Plates want their services readily available, convenient to their customers, and to remain productive; then they may consider the use of wireless devices to compete with other businesses that supply the same services. Mobile services allow Party Plates as well as their customers to access information real-time while connecting from mobile devices and other computing environments. Whether Party Plates use mobile devices or remain in its current position, we are recommending mobile computing and mobile commerce as wireless services to move Party Plates into the future. The pros and cons of each service are listed within this proposal. Mobile computing refers to real-time wireless connection between a mobile device and other computing environments, such as the Internet. These days it is spreading everywhere, at work, at home, in education, health care, entertainment, and in so many other areas. The pros of mobile computing is its mobility to take a small hand held device and go anywhere and its broad reach to just about anywhere instantly [ (Rainer & Cegielski, 2011) ]. Mobile commerce is just like e-commerce in that we can conduct business transactions the......

...I am here with you today to show you how I plan to run a successful business. The name of my business is D and C Café. This restaurant is going to be located in an office building where there are doctors, lawyers, and other businesses that have clients coming in throughout the day. The employees of this office building as well as clients have to travel at least 10 minutes to go somewhere for lunch. There is no other food service in this building. This café would make an exceptional addition to this office building. The café I am starting will be geared for customers that work and visit the BG plaza office building. We will have a menu that is geared more towards food that can be prepared quickly for those in a rush, but we will also have steaks, seafood etc. for those that have the time to sit, relax and eat. This café will be open the same hours that the office building is open, so it will be available to all employees and clients at all business hours of the plaza. This café will be implemented as a corporation. The reason I have chosen a corporation is because shares of stock can be bought. As an investor you will own shares of stock in the café. This will be easier if for any reason you want to sell your stock. “Shares of stock are easy to sell (transfer ownership.)” (Kieso, Kimmel and Weygandt 2003). With the café being a corporation and having stock holders, it will be easier to raise funds if the need arises by selling stock to investors like yourself. Now we......
