The environmental scan in Washington is a soft market. Since unemployment rates are high, this shows us that it is difficult for individuals to find jobs. This will benefit Tanglewood because they will have an overabundance of candidates and many of them should be qualified for positions they are looking to fill. Tanglewood’s management careers are in high demand in the Pacific Northwest. Finding the best candidates could pose to be challenging though because many applicants only have experience at the bottom level of employment and are looking to learn and work there way up the career ladder. Having to do this and adapt to Tanglewood’s culture in order to progress into future management positions may pose as a challenge when it comes to filling the management vacancies. Tanglewood is also looking to hire college graduates at base pay. However college graduates are looking for careers above base pay, so this could pose a hiring challenge.…...
