Virtual schools
Virtual schools, also known as cyberschools, are schools that are conducted entirely on the Internet, so that students may attend from any location with online access. Firstly, transportation can be expensive and often is the deciding factor on whether students need is a place with reliable Internet access. This means students are free to work from home, at the library, or any place of their choosing. Students who enjoy traveling can attend classes regularly with a laptop and wireless Internet card that will allow them to go to school from any location. Besides, virtual schools offer more flexibility for students who aren't able to commit to a regular school schedule. Students have more power to set and change their school schedule, and have many options to continue their education, no matter what their work and personal life schedules might look like.

Naturally, most online programs don't have all of the fun elements of high schools: prom, senior day, graduation, etc. If losing these aspects of traditional high school doesn't bother you, there is still another concern along the same lines-isolation. Some online students may develop anti-social feelings. Make sure your online high school has forums where other students and you can chat. If the school doesn't offer forums, see if they have any recommendations to avoid feeling cut-off from peers.
Another consideration is that many people find it a challenge to focus on completing work when no an actual teacher is present to encourage them on a daily basis. Let's face it, all of us need some encouragement every now and again. However, teachers serve as more than slave drivers, they are also the ones you should go to if you have problems with your assignments. Clearly, this poses a problem for online students. Some subjects, such as English and math, may be hard to…...

For the column df (degrees of freedom) just remember the rule ”minus one”: We have 3 different Treatments ⇒ dftreat = 3 − 1 = 2 We have 8 different measurements ⇒ dftot = 8 − 1 = 7 dftreat + dfres = dftot ⇒ dfres = 7 − 2 = 5 For the column SS (sum of squares) we can proceed as follows: 2 Remark that the overall mean does not necessary coincide with the mean of the yi. ! 2 SStreat = ”sum of squares between treatment groups” ˆi A2 · #measures = = (−1.33)2 · 3 + (2.33)2 · 3 + (1.5)2 · 2 = 26.17 SSres = ”sum of squares within treatment groups” = i j (yij − yi. )2 = i SSrowi = (1 − 1.667)2 + (2 − 1.667)2 + (2 − 1.667)2 + [0.667] + [0.5] = 1.83 SStot = ”Total sum of squares” = i,j (yij − µ)2 ˆ = (1 − 3)2 + (2 − 3)2 + . . . + (1 − 3)2 = 28 Remark 2 The total ”SS” is always equal to the sum of the other ”SS”! A big F −value implies that the......
