I believe that Facebook has something to do with the personality of its user. For whatever the user has posted reflects more of his identity. For example, people post some photos or videos to make sure that other people will see that. They are usually waiting for others to like or write some comments for these things. For quite some time, they are unaware to the things that they do through Facebook.
Facebook helps- For those people who can’t say their true feelings, this site helps. Connecting to others is one of the structural functions of Facebook and we are so happy for these reasons. And usually we are having fun through this site. Like when we see others who usually ignore us in personal and now talking or should we say chatting to us, it makes us happy.
Conversations- We can talk to different people in a very short time. And it helps us in expressing our personalities. Personalities that others can’t see in real life because we are sometimes shy and we can’t give efforts in expressing this. And because of that you’ll have the chance for others see your real self. Then it motivates them.
Not all Facebook users are shy, because sometimes these users are just happy to like, share, comment and post. They are just happy to browse names and to talk to others. Sometimes they just want to help others who are shy.
There are different types of Facebook users. It differs through their personalities, differences and our acknowledgements to their specific features. The probability of noticing these characteristics will become small when we don’t accept these exceptional characteristics of other. And if that happens, lot of shy type people will be quiet; they will be away to this existing world of networking. Their personalities will be undiscoverable like they are in position that will make them out of place. And their self will be different from this changing world of networking.
Personalities and Facebook differs but if you examine these two words you will see similarities because when we use this site a part of our personality will change and through those changes we can see what we are doing to our self. It is very complicated to connect Facebook to our personalities but all in all these to particular words have a better meanings to our lives and we mustn’t use these in wrong ways.…...

...like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and MySpace, etc. In the virtual community, people can suggest their ideas; people can share their experiences and photos; people can trade with each other. Facebook is one of many social networking tools available which is considered popular due to its versatility in what can be shared-everything from installing and creating fun applications (e.g. movie quizzes) to posting photos of your recent family reunion (Bernadette 8). In fact, there’s very little people can’t do on Facebook. It’s sometimes called a social utility.” Where does this quote begin? Like a power grid, it provides the supporting infrastructure for the constantly changing everyday activities of hundreds of millions of users, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The amount of activity on Facebook is almost inconceivable. Every month, users add 30 billion pieces of content (comments, photos, Web links, blog posts, videos, etc.) to Facebook.3......

...Facebook James L. Horton Should your company have a Facebook page? Do you have a choice? Facebook started as a way for college friends to get to know each other, but it departed academia a while ago. Many well known and not so popular brands have Facebook pages -- whether they know it or not. Friends and fans have put up pages using brand names and logos. Consider company D (purposely left nameless). Dealers of this company’s branded goods have Facebook pages dedicated to company D with as many as 80,000 fans. Hundreds of individuals also have put up Facebook sites using Company D’s name. Or, consider Company X. Company X has an active Facebook page with a wall filled with press releases and information that are probably posted on its web site as well. X claims 779 fans. How many are employees, how many clients and how many people looking for jobs? Company Y claimed 297 fans at the time of writing. However, beyond links to the firm’s web site and a brief statement about the company, there is little of interest for friends and fans. There were only two items on its wall, one a photo posted five months before. The company apparently has little idea of what to do with its site and is making no effort to keep it up. ...Facebook Discussion Questions 1. How does Facebook’s privacy management of users’ personal information affect the behavior of Facebook patrons? = Well, Facebook, generates most of its revenue from targeted advertisements based on user’s demography and interest, so the more data users share publicly the more money it can mint from ads (Nelson & Quick, 2013). Let’s say for example I don’t publish my likes and dislikes on Facebook. Then they will have to find a way to push me into doing that. The moment I go in and enter that information I will be immediately targeted as a consumer with certain needs and Facebook will be the platform that will bring them to me. 2. Being a college student you are likely a Facebook user. What is your opinion regarding how Facebook deals with privacy issues? What have you done (or decided not to do) with regard to protecting your privacy on Facebook (or other social networking sites)? =As a college student I do have a Facebook. In my opinion, if Facebook is seeking to become dominant on the internet they should follow through on providing privacy for its users and personal choice. I don’t agree that as a user, you really don’t have control of the privacy in your page. Even though I have a page, I don’t like to post all my information there or any other social networking site. I have never believed that you are totally protected. I always recommended my family and close friends not to put personal data (phone number, address, private...

It was built to accomplish a social mission - to make the world more open and connected. -Mark Zuckerberg A social networking service launched to the public known as Facebook, changed how we keep in touch today. Facebook connects more people then any other single network. Posted in the office, fingers on the keyboard, anticipating and waiting, on September 26, 2006, Facebook was open to anyone over the age of 13 with a valid email address. Suddenly, I was a Facebook member and the feeling felt so great. Mark Zucherberg wrote a program called Facemash in 2003, while attending Harvard University. Zucherberg didn’t think much of his newly found creation. What Zucherburg thought would be something unextraordinary, in a matter of minutes, throughout all of Harvard, Facemash, what later turned into “Facebook”, attracted 450 students and 22,000 photos uploaded in the first four hours online. Zuckerberg faced expulsion and was charged by the administration with breach of security, violating copyrights, and violating individual privacy. Harvard took action in the commotion and dropped charges against Zucherburg. Initially, Facemash was restricted to Harvard University students only, eventually opening to all Ivy League schools and many more to come. Facebook has affected me substantially. Having a Facebook before having a phone gave me the access to connect with friends by posting photos, thoughts, and......
