IS CRIME ANISSUE AT QEGS
Introduction
I think crime is an issue at QEGS but mostly petit crimes such as small thefts and graffiti on a small scale. However there are some exceptions to this such as the recent burning (arson) in the boy’s toilets, large graffiti near studio and sometimes you hear about people taking illegal drugs but these are anomalies so I have decided not to use these in my graphs and results. In future I think school could learn from these incidents by placing cameras in blind spots and clearing out toilets before lessons to ensure no pupils are left UN watched during lessons. Also smoke alarms could be fitted in more places so a member of staff could be alerted quicker.

Personally I think the most common crime in QEGS is bulling and vandalism/graffiti I think this as they are easy to commit and hard to see by teachers unless they are really obvious. This is also why crimes like drugs and under aged smoking as you can smell cigarettes and see the effects of illegal drugs such as cannabis, cocaine and amphetamines. If the consequences were not so bad for being caught doing this sort of crime it would be far more common.
I also think that major crime rates are very low in QEGS as home lives of most students are calm safe and good and the families are reasonably wealthy so often pupils do not go out of control doing larger crimes.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion to this I think it shows that not many big scale crimes are committed although a lot of small (petit) crimes are committed the main one in class rooms is graffiti and at dinner there is littering, bullying, minor assaults and lots of theft from the canteen, so the school have done something about this and put a camera in there I think. this will lower the number but not completely stop it as people are very good at sneaking out certain things so the camera may not pick up on this. A Person Who I Admire

...A person who I admire A person who I admire is an interesting topic. I believe you can admire more than one person. A typical admiration I have seen is when people boy, are admiring a very famous singer, actor etc. although it is typical, it is still a good admiration because you can use that person as your role model or idol. Fx. If your role model is a sportsman, then you can admire his performing skills, and maybe learn something from him or her. But trough my life I have admired many persons, friends, older people, teachers, etc. All these people have given me experiences and personal abilities which I have acquired with help from them. My opinion is that I cannot admire one person specially. When I admire someone I respect the person’s character. After my experience I also admire someone when I am in his presence. A person who can change a bad day to a good day, fx my mother. My mother is defiantly one of my top 3 list over admired persons. Just imagine without your mother you would not exist. Everyone should admire how housemothers are struggling to raise there children’s. I am indeed of her proud of my mother, it is because of her that I am that what I am today. When I always have been in a bad mood my mother opened up my minds to look at things in a different perspective. Fx when I has had a problem she shared her experiences with me and learned me to tackle every situation. Another important person who I likes to admire is my father. A father and a mother is an......

What I Would Like to Learn from Pshcology

...What would I like to learn about in this course and why are you interested in it? The first topic that I notice when I opened up my general psychology ninth edition in modules textbook by David Myers was States of Consciousness. I want to learn about this topic because I feel like everyone can master their mind and just become a better individual. I feel the first step of mastering the mind is to first learn how the mind works that’s why I signed up for this course so I can gain more knowledge of the inner workings of the consciousness and the sub- consciousness mind. Once you know how the sub- consciousness minds works and begin to learn how to train to work in your favor I believe the sky is the limit after that. I’ve listening to great motivational speakers on a daily basis such as Less brown, Anthony Robbins, Napoleon hill and Dale carnige. They all have one thing in common the say that the secret to true success and to be truly happy one must think! Nowadays people do the exact opposite from that because they are too busy or to distracted by mindless social media like instagram or twitter which does nothing for the individual instead of making them an internet and cell phone junkie that’s just my opinion. That’s just the tip of the iceberg I feel like it going to get way worse. I want to learn more about the sub- consciousness because they say that the sub- consciousness is a hundred times more stronger than the consciousness the .When people believe that their......

Who Am I

...Who am I? What makes me who I am? What makes me act the way I act? What is my personality really like? These are just a few of the questions that I will attempt to answer in this essay. These questions are very complex and cannot be answered in exact terms. However I will use the personality theories of Sigmund Freud and Abraham Maslow to answer these questions and many more as accurately as possible. Sigmund Freud would say the unconscious level of my mind contains the desires, wishes, needs, and impulses that we are not aware of under normal circumstances. He would say that my mind is composed of three systems- the id, ego, and superego. The id operates on the pleasure principle. The ego operates on the reality principle. The superego refers to the moral aspects of personality. These three systems fight for control. In my opinion I feel that my ego is winning this fight, with my id in a close second. My id demands pleasure at all costs. However my ego knows that I must obtain this pleasure appropriately or I will land myself in big trouble. I think my superego is really losing this battle. I make choices that for the most part obtain pleasure but do not get me in big trouble. However I rarely if ever make decisio The word ˜personality' has many definitions. Personality and the mind are known to some people as ˜unpredictable'. Many have tried to crack its secrets by coming up with various theories. Most people would define ˜personality' as an individual's character, or......

Who Am I

...Who Am I? Why Am I? Human beings are very inquisitive, curious and inquiring in nature. They want to know everything about the surrounding, universe what is the beginning of something? This question always has interest and curiosity in it. The inquisitive nature of man always forces him to know the history of things around him. He always loves to inquire about the development of different observable facts and events those are taking place around him. If it is so then it is quite natural that people think about their own self about the existence of their own individuality. It is believed that everything happens for a reason or we can say that if something is happening it has some valid or rational reason behind that happening. If it is so then the first question, which will jump into the mind, will surely be about the reason of my own existence. There are more or less 7 billion people living in this world and very few of them could mark their name by doing some exceptional things in their lives. Some are famous and loved by most of the people while there are some people who are notorious and people dislike them. But majority of the people in this world are simply good for nothing. They come and they die and nobody even notice their presence and their absence as well. (Olson, 2002) If we have to categorize the expression of identity we may find that basically there are two different classes of identity these are social identity and personal identity. Social identity is a......

...changes and differenses there were also a lot of similarities which helped make things easier for me to have to ajust to changes. Here are a few differenses about Brazillia and Pretoria. Firstly, the similarities the two places have are the facts that they are both quiet and calm cities. In the same way they give of a peacful vibe. They also are both very clean, tidy and beautiful cities. They both are very green and sunny. In another way that they are similar is with the weather. Very hot in the summer and not very cold in the winter. It also rains quite a lot and they both are very humid. On the other hand they also have very big differenses. Schools in Pretoria were very strict and formal while the school here in Brazillia are very layed back and not as strict. The people aalso have a big difference. I think the people here are more varried and mixed whilest in Pretoria are not. People there are also more out-going than the people here. Another difference I noticed about the people is that I feel that people in South africa have a bit more culture than people here in Brazil. Of couse Brazil has its many cultures and customs I feel they are more varried there. Even though both places have there differences they are both amazing and its good to know that there is something different out there than what you are used to and its always good to try something new....

Who Am I

...Much writing on the Internet, for high school, and for general purposes contains the personal opinions of writers. As a result, some of the phrases below are very common in these writing situations: “To me,” “I think” “Personally,” “For me,” “It is this writer’s opinion” Style and Substance/Joseph Couch 2 While everyone has a right to a personal opinion, relying on opinion in college writing usually means hiding behind that right rather than facing the fact that others can question a writer’s ideas. As a result, the common defense of “that’s my opinion” does not matter much as a reason to support an essay’s ideas. What does matter for a class that requires a textbook such as this one is writing that shows critical thought and (often) outside research. The first step towards writing with these qualities is an understanding that it does not stand alone as an opinion. In fact, college-level writing acknowledges and engages with the ideas of others who have also often done some critical thinking and outside research on the topic. Essentially, college professors want essays that exchange ideas with other readers and writers rather than present ideas on the level of opinions. This is not to say that a student’s ideas do not count in college writing. The process to a completed paper does often begin with one’s own point of view, and professors encourage students to have their own opinions. Understanding that a personal opinion only begins the process, however, is the first......

But I thought instead of going through the same essays over and over again, you can get to know more about me and what I’d like to do for the future. Sound good? Ok let’s go. First of all my name is Gustavo Arturo Villarroel De La Concha Alvarez. Pretty long isn’t it? Don’t worry you can call me Gus for short. Over the past year when I still a junior in high school I conjured up a multitude of ideas for innovations that could very well alter the way we manufacture vehicles for the future, but first I need to be educated in the field that best suits that subject, Mechanical Engineering. During my junior year, I bought a 2001 6 cylinder Laser Red Ford Mustang. It was a stick shift too, so it was fun to drive on the highway switching in and out of gears and really hear the engine roar. I went with my mother and step father to the Rolex 24 since they worked for BRA Motorsports and went inside the garages for the racers and I was mesmerized by the array of sport horses as well as the components that make them up. I was always a curious soul, I just felt the need to poke my nose into things that fascinated me and I always had the urge to obtain a COMPLETE understanding of them. I would actually take some of the machines...

We shall study the gamut of legal concepts, from product liability, to civil rights, to intellectual property rights, to antitrust and consumer protection. Underpinning all of these legal concepts, however, will be two foundational aspects: (a) the ethical issues within, and (b) the "world view" without. Milton Friedman, Immanual Kant, Blanchard and Peale, Laura Nash . . . these are just a few of the names of ethicists and business people about whom you will study and learn. During Week 1, we begin the process of sorting out how we feel about business social responsibility. We shall consider this question: Does business have a social responsibility beyond maximization of profits, and if so, how does business fulfill a corporate social responsibility? We will also begin considering how our behavior affects everyone in the entire world. The world-view of business is becoming quite the norm rather than the exception. I Am Essay Paper

...Liberty University I AM PAPER “I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE.” Craig Hardin BIBL 160-BO2 The Gospel of John February 22, 2015 In the research for the writing of this paper, I began reading a book that my grandfather read as he was studying at Carson Newman University after his ordination to preach the Gospel. In the book entitled, John’s Witness to Jesus, it states in speaking of Jesus: “in each figure of speech Jesus unfolded fresh truth about himself.” There are seven “I AM’S” in the book of John that could be written about. I have chosen to write concerning Jesus and the comparison that he made to himself as the bread. One of the most miraculous happenings of the Book of John is the miracle of Jesus feeding the five thousand when there seemed to not be enough food to go around. Douglas Connelly writes concerning Jesus and his miracles in John; “These miracles were not performed simply to alleviate human suffering or to meet human needs; John called them signs. Like signs pointing to the right road, Jesus’ miracles pointed to the truth of Jesus’ claim to be the Son of God.” Could we imagine what it would have been like during this time in history and to also have possibly have been a part of it as well? Gregg Matte reminds us: “In the fourth miracle-the only miracle found in all Gospel accounts-Jesus shows compassion for the people by filling their stomachs and opening their hearts. “ The Reverend Donald McCorkindale said something interesting in an article I read......

"What we have been saying for quite a while is that even though there is a high unemployment rate, it's very difficult to find skilled people," said Jeff Owens, president of ATS, a manufacturing consulting services company. A survey by ManpowerGroup found that a record 52 percent of U.S. employers have difficulty filling critical positions within their organizations -- up from 14 percent in 2010 Most of the jobs hard to fill are for skilled trades, Internet technology, engineers, sales representatives and machine operators. Math, engineering, technology and computer science students accounted for about 11.1 percent of college graduates in 1980, according to government data. That share dropped to about 8.9 percent in 2009. "Many of the younger kids that are coming out of college have been discouraged to go into manufacturing," said Dennis Bray, president and CEO of Contour Precision Group. “Who Am I?”

...“Who Am I?” --by Michael Cho I wish I could write about the Michael Cho who stars in my Walter Mitty-like fantasies. If only my personal statement could consist of my name followed by such terms as Olympic athlete, master chef, boy genius, universal best friend, and Prince Charming to every hopeful woman. These claims would be, at worst, outright lies, or at best, gross hyperbole. My dreams, however, take their place alongside my memories, experiences, and genes in the palette that constitutes who I am. Who am I? I am a product of my reality and my imagination. I am innately depraved, yet I am made perfect. I plan my day with the knowledge that “Everything is meaningless” (Ecclesiastes 1:2), but I must “make the most of every opportunity” (Colossians 4:5). I search for simple answers, but find only complex questions. Once, on my way to a wrestling tourname whether living in an abode which rotated near the speed of light would result in my being younger (utilizing the Theory of Relativity) and stronger (utilizing the properties of adaptation along with the definition of centripetal and gravitational force) that I failed to realize that I had left my wrestling shoes in my locker.
