Empower

To empower an employee gives the employee a chance to take initiative by completing tasks with little guidance. In Inspirational Leadership, the leader will empower their employees through many different means, such as open communication, allowing employees to fail, support their independence and appreciate their efforts.

Open communication empowers employees by letting the front line employees provide feedback and ideas through easy to access channels, such as management conducting meetings. If their ideas are not used, inspirational leaders will make their employees know that their input is valued and explain why the company decided to go a different way.

By allowing employees to fail within a safe working environment, inspirational leaders are allowing employees to feel comfortable when they are being innovative. An inspirational leader gives their employees the opportunity to try new things without putting the company in danger, this can be done by providing a laboratory environment where employees can test new ideas and learn from their failures.

The last technique an inspirational leader will do is appreciate their employee’s efforts. Employees work better and more efficiently if they feel their work is appreciated. An inspirational leader thanks their employees on everything they achieve.

Motivate

Inspirational leaders want to motivate their employees to work at their job for reasons beyond money, their goal is to provide a work environment that is passionate, with open communication and mentorship.
Inspirational leaders energize their team by bringing passion and positive energy into the workplace. This will make their employees feel the same way, making them want to stay on working at the organization, not for money, but for the enjoyment of being passionate about work.
Inspirational leaders are good listeners, they are always open and willing to listen to their employees and encourage open communication about things beyond work, for example if an employee is having trouble outside of work, the inspirational leader will listen and try to help that person if they can. Inspirational leaders motivate through leading by experience, not through their job title. They mentor their employees and treats them like partners.

Encourage Teamwork

Inspirational leaders encourage the development of teams within their organization. They will achieve this by, making everyone feel important, encourage all members of the team to share their ideas, conduct team building activities.
Inspirational leaders try to make their employees feel important by making each team member know that they have a role to play in the success of each project. They will make sure each member knows their role and how they will impact the business.
They will encourage everyone to share their ideas on each project. They will do this by having an idea sharing board that encourages open communication.
Inspirational leaders want their team members to know and trust one another, the best way to build trust is by conducting team building exercises that get them out of the office and away from work. (Chan, 2013)

...Inspirational Reading Learning to read never seemed like a very big deal to me because I was able to learn so quickly at a very young age. It never occurred to me that someone could possibly need help learning something that had come so easily to me. In the sixth grade, I realized that it isn’t always so easy for everyone. ...I am strong willed, decisive and efficient. My challenges tend to be that I am Competitive, Inattentive to details and very direct in nature. On the Influence side of me, I would say the positive traits that I have tend to be that I am a people person taking an optimistic approach in situations, always taking stock in the popularity with others. I think with my heart and have a tendency to trust people indiscriminately. My challenges tend to be that I am Inattentive to details, and make superficial analysis in situations.
