It really happened. Leicester took the title in 2016 which is only rated a 5,000-1 opportunity to win. The lessons that can be learnt from Leicester City (LC) by individuals pertaining to entrepreneurial behavior, skills and thinking are determination.
There has been a long journey for Leicester city to reach its goal in Premiership success which is within 132 years. LC got their Premier League Champion this year because of their dogged spirit and determination, fought for the last minute goal and finally grinding out their triumph. Hence, if we truly know that we are doing the right thing, we should have the determination and persistence to practice it every day as well as treat every failure and obstacles as our learning possibilities, believe something that is unbelievable, it will get us a long way to success.
Besides, an entrepreneur who wants to succeed more and driving sustained business success, they are few lessons can be learned from LCFC victory for every entrepreneur in order to assimilate and apply in their business. Therefore building a right winning culture for the entrepreneurial is a key to success. The achievement of LC look like overnight success for a casual fan, but behind the story there are many important element which lead to the success. In order to justify that culture is a key element in entrepreneurial; Claudio Ranieri the manager of Leicester City has created a culture among player by inspiring and gets the player bond by each other. Therefore the player will seem the team as a whole without any selfishness. In 2014, according to Gallup survey stated that there a less than 1/3 of American employees who actually engaged in their job. Therefore, to build a solid and winning culture every entrepreneur or manager must be able to stay relaxed when dealing with member, raise a team’s expectation of itself and forge a strong team spirit.
Pressure is a best teacher for an entrepreneur to be growth. It is a very crucial trait that we can learn from Ranieri. Even is the poor referee performance or mistakes on his team player, he has smiled, kept calm and boost the team confidence and absorbed the pressure. Being an entrepreneur well-managed pressure is one of the traits we need to possess. In reality we cannot fully eliminate stress exist in our life, whereas some pressure can actually be turning point for the entrepreneurs if we take it as a lessons. Being positively and focused and do remember that cure the problem is always better than we prevent it. Rainieri is a good model to learn from that he gives his team players space and support to play, whilst maintaining their concentration on the reachable objective.
The ‘tinkerman’ Mr Ranieri can be say was one of a key person who assists the Leicester win the Premier League after over a hundred years. Mr Ranieri was serving as a manager from Chelsea about 30 years before he came to Leicester. While at Chelsea, Mr Ranieri was earned the nickname ‘tinkerman’ as he always fiddled too much on the choice of his team. However when come to the way to manage Leicester, Mr Ranieri resists to interference and doing the opposite way. As a result, Leicester won the Premier League. Mr Ranieri had learned from his failure while at Chelsea and try different way at Leicester. This makes his team success in the match eventually. As an entrepreneur, we should learn from Mr Ranieri never be shame to admit own mistake. Moreover, take the mistake as a lesson and find other way to reach success.…...
