Duties and Responsibilities
During my internship at KMEG, I was given marketing related duties and I was tasked with primarily giving advice to prospective students who wish to study in Malaysia and internationally. I also handled practical duties that relates to providing advice on the enrolment process, right from selection of an educational institution and preparation of documents to their arrival in the country of destination etc. Coming to a foreign country to study can be a complicated and challenging experience for many students and I helped these students gain the knowledge and information they required to help them make an informed decision to study in Malaysia. In essence, my duties involved, advertising and promoting the selected University/college very extensively in the target market through our representatives and associates, consulting students in relation to their intention to study in the selected University/ College, assisting with the University enrolment process and assisting with airport pickup and accommodation. I served as an important link between KMEG, the prospective student and the University. I also worked with a number of official partners across the world that includes marketing organizations and recruitment agencies. I helped KMEG recruit many international students from Kazakhstan to study in Malaysia. My multilingual talents of speaking Russian and English helped to facilitate the process of communication with these students about their interest studying in Malaysia and to identify the most suitable courses for the students and guide them throughout the entire enrolment process. I managed to help KMEG contract and place a large number of students in various Malaysian universities. My personality, knowledge and experience helped to support the company to develop efficiently and to make sure that its clients were given the best marketing service in education consultancy. As part of my internship at KMEG, I leant how to develop interpersonal skills, I learnt about how to carry out marketing related duties and best practices in the industry and also learnt how to use innovation and flexibility during my work. These are skills that can help me in my future work career.…...

Diversity

...all of my students. Whether it is sensitivity to race, gender, athletic ability, etc. I have been presented with these situations or scenarios in one class or another and been helped a long with providing the instruction to meet their needs 4. How do you integrate diversity and multiculturalism throughout your class curriculum. This is more difficult to do in a PE class than in other classes. I would find a game related to certain cultures for the students to play. For example we played a game called colony ball, this game is used to teach about the culture of those related to the pilgrims. Or play TOLI which is a native American version of lacrosse 5. Considering the classrooms in which you were assigned during intership, what does least restrictive environment look like? It looks like a place where everyone can learn equally. I had the opportunity to be in one ALE class. It was in a gym that had 2 full courts of basketball in it. This provided the opportunity for the ALE students to learn just like everyone else did. However if the ALE teacher wanted to do something else they had that opportunity as well. 6. How can technology be used as a resource for student learning? Lakeside does a great job at using technology as a resource for student learning. Each class has its own website where students can go on to check their grades, get missing homework assignments, it affords extra study material, etc. Some teachers use the APP......

...Cover Letters and other career correspondence Your letter is your introduction —it continues or starts a conversation about work or education Just as you start a conversation by introducing yourself, a résumé should always be sent with an accompanying letter. Picture yourself sitting face-to-face with a person doing work that is interesting. What would you say? What do you want to ensure they know about you before you leave the room? Your letter is a chance to make a great first impression or continue a conversation that has already been started. Your letter is something employers expect —it shows your professionalism and helps them get to know you Every time you submit a résumé, you should attach an accompanying letter. Even if they don’t specifically request it, employers expect documentation from you that shows your professionalism and potential contributions. What better way to start than by using a cover letter? Your letter should clearly show the match —it illustrates the connections between you and the work Some employers scan your résumé first, while others start with the cover letter. To increase your chances of being invited to an interview, ensure that both documents clearly show the match between what the employer needs and what you can contribute. Once you have made the match, remember that the letter is your chance to stand out as an individual from the many other qualified applicants. Include information that supports and points to your résumé,......

Geriatric

...individuals is typically the most rewarding aspect of a geriatric social work career. I truly enjoy working closely with elderly individuals. I understand their unique needs, and respect all that they have to put forward. I am a patient and organized person, with excellent communication skills. Working with older patients gives will give me the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of older people and their families. However, not everyone is a cut out for geriatric social work careers. It takes a certain type of individual to be able to understand their needs and react to them accordingly. Having said that, you never know until you try, and I have had some of the best experiences of my young adulthood with older people by doing interships. Evaluation: 10% Information Systems Failure: The Case of Computer-Aided Dispatch (Cad) System at London Ambulance Service 1. Introduction The LAS covers a geographical area of just over 600 square miles and handles emergencies for a resident population of 6.8 million people. The CAD project is one of the most frequently quoted UK-based examples of information systems failure that took place in early 1990s. The prominence of this particular case is due to the ‘safety critical’ nature of this system and the claim that 20-30 people may have lost their lives as a result of CAD failure. 2. Description of the Manual Dispatch System The manual dispatch system consists of: a) call taking, b) resource identification, and c) resource mobilization. Call Taking: Emergency calls are received by ambulance control. Control assistants write down details of incidents on pre-printed forms. The location of each incident is identified and the reference co-ordinates are recorded on the forms. The forms are then placed on a conveyer belt which transports them to a central collection point. Resource Identification: Other members of ambulance control collect the forms, review the details on the forms and decide which resource allocator should deal with each incident. ...------------------------------------------------- Plot[ edit] Billy McMahon and Nick Campbell seek employment after being laid off from their positions as watch salesmen when their employer goes out of business. Billy then applies for an internship at Google for the two of them, and they are accepted due to their unorthodox interview answers, despite a lack of relevant experience. They are the only interns not of traditional collegiate age. They will spend the summer competing in teams against other interns, also known as "Nooglers", in a variety of tasks, and only the members of the winning team will be guaranteed jobs with Google. Billy and Nick are teamed with other interns seen as rejects: Stuart, who is usually engrossed in his smart phone; Yo-Yo, a Filipino-American who was homeschooled by a stereotypical overbearing Asian mother; and Neha, an Indian-American who is an enthusiast of nerd-related kink. The team is led by Lyle, who constantly tries to act hip in order to hide his insecurities. Another intern, Graham, bullies Billy and Nick's team. Mr. Chetty, the head of the internship program, also expresses his doubts about the older men's abilities. Stuart, Yo-Yo, and Neha see Billy and Nick as useless during a task focused on debugging and send them on a wild goose chase to find the fictional character, Professor X. But later, during a game of quidditch against Graham's team, Billy rallies his team to a comeback that unifies them as a team despite ultimately losing......
