1.0 Introduction
In today’s information age, organizations are required to provide effective, quick and access information .The growing availability of low cost hardware and software avails computerized service provision within the reach of every organization.
Service inquiry and response by various stakeholders is increasing dramatically, as stated by Robert Ferguson a receptionist at Marshall University in West Virginia. Therefore these help systems are not very common in developing countries. A number of organizations in such have not realized their importance. However with the increasing demand for service information and the high rate of advancement in technology, there is doubt that organizations are in great need of such systems, if they are to compete favorably…...

Diary of Anne Frank

...The Diary of Anne Frank Would you family have the strength to sacrifice everything to stay together? The Frank family did. On July 5,1942 Margot Frank, a shy, sixteen year old was ordered to report to a work camp in Germany. To keep his family united Otto Frank decided to go into hiding in a secret annex located in Amsterdam, Holland with his wife Edith and his two daughters Margot and Anne. The Franks were later joined by the Van Daan Family, which included Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan and their son Peter. Then, Mr. Jan Dussel was the last person to live in the secret annex. These eight people had to live together for more than two years. They had become one big family. The main character Anne, an out-going, loud, sociable, thirteen year old found support to get through the two long years from her father, her older sister Margot, and Peter Van Daan. A father and his daughter have a relationship that nobody and nothing can break. A father and daughter relationship is made up of love, respect, and trust. These three words are the key attributes that make Anne and her father’s relationship so special and unbreakable. Many scenes in the play led to conclude that one of the reasons Anne had the strength to keep a positive attitude and never lose hope during the two years in hiding is because of her father. In Act 1 Scene 2 Anne received a special present from her father. Something that she had always longed for, a diary. This diary was extra special to her because it was given......

With over thirty-one million copies sold, the diary has been translated into sixty-seven different languages making Anne Frank a symbol of the six-million Jews killed throughout the Holocaust (Langer). The engaging story of Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl contains well-written passages filled with articulate and vivid descriptions of life in the Secret Annex, written by, Anne Frank. While Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl contains few controversial elements; it is an enduring classic that portrays a young girl’s response to her changing life, relationships, mind and body, during the extreme circumstances that constantly surround the world around her. The Diary of a Young Girl begins while following the life of a typical teenage girl, who receives a diary for her thirteenth birthday. Like most teenage girls, it seems Anne’s life is solely surrounded with gossip about boys, friends, and school. However, it is in an early entry, where Anne reveals her desire of a true friend to have conversations of value and to be her trusted confident. After the Germans invaded the Netherlands in 1940, the Franks were forced into hiding. The family moved into a small building above Mr. Frank’s office known as the Secret Annex. Anne Frank "Child of the Holocaust

...ANNE FRANK “CHILD OF THE HOLOCAUST” Through the eyes of one adolescent girl, this book depicts the feelings of many Jewish people whose lives were forever changed by the Nazi Invasion in the 1940’s during World War II. The Holocaust was an atrocious time in Europe when approximately 6 million Jews were tortured, beaten and murdered as a result of their religion. During this era, the Jewish people were taken to concentration camps and were gassed or burnt to death. For many people, Anne Frank became a symbol of those six million Jewish men, women and especially the children who were murdered by the Nazis as these tragic events unfolded. It is almost impossible to comprehend this number, but the story of Anne Frank makes it possible to understand what the war meant for one of these victims. For my book report, I chose to focus on a life of a young girl named Anne Frank. Anne was a German Jewish girl whose family fled the Nazi Persecution of Jews in Germany in the 1930's, settling in what they hoped was the safety of Amsterdam, Holland. When the Nazis invaded Holland in 1940, the terror returned and the Franks went into hiding in a Secret Annex, hidden rooms at the back of Otto Frank's (father) business premises in Amsterdam. Most books about famous people only tell the reader about what the person was like as a child, to help explain what they were like as a grown up. But Anne’s diary is all about her childhood because she never had a chance to grow up. Very......

Anne Frank Character Analysis

...Mr. van Daan     -  The father of the family that hides in the annex along with the Franks and who had worked with Otto Frank in Amsterdam. He shows his talent as an herbal specialist when the family receives a large amount of meat. According to Anne, he is intelligent, opinionated, pragmatic, and somewhat egotistical. Anne considers him to be an insufferable know-it-all, though she reserves the majority of her ire for his wife. Mr. van Daan is temperamental, speaks his mind openly, and is not afraid to cause friction, especially with his wife, with whom he fights frequently and openly. Mrs. van Daan  -  Mrs. van Daan is one person that Anne can’t stand. She’s belligerent and selfish, always instigates fights, and rarely helpful. She is a fatalist and can be petty, egotistical, flirtatious, stingy, and disagreeable. Mrs. van Daan frequently complains about the family’s situation—criticism that Anne does not admire or respect. Her character does not seem to change over time. She is jealous of Anne’s relationship with her son, wanting Peter to confide in her rather than in Anne. However, Mrs. van Daan does have a few strong points. She occasionally can be reasonable and backs down from fights, is generally neat and tidy, and is often easier for Anne to approach than her own mother. Peter van Daan  -  Through Anne’s eyes at the beginning of her diary, Peter is lazy and has a weak character. He’s also shy and extremely awkward. But a year and a half after they’ve been in......

Dodd-Frank

...The Dodd-Frank Act is a legislation passed as a response to the financial crisis in 2008. It is intended to decrease various risks in the U.S. financial system. Some things it tried to create were the ability to grow jobs, protect consumers and prevent another financial crisis. It was made to restore faith in our financial system and to give Americans confidence that we will figure this crisis out and prevent another one the best we can. The act has established numerous new government agencies to oversee various components of the act. The Financial Stability Oversight Council is supposed to monitor the financial industry as a whole especially on Wall Street. They monitor how stable major firms are and their financial documents. They do this with major firms who if they fail, could have a major negative impact on our economy (companies deemed "too big to fail"). If any of these banks are considered to be too large and could possibly pose a systemic risk, the council has the right to break up the banks. The Financial Stability Oversight Council established the Volcker Rule which prohibits banks from owning or using hedge funds to increase profits. Next they made the The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is in charge of credit and debit card companies and mortgage loans. This council is in place to make it easier for consumers to understand the regulations of mortgages. They make sure everyone is alert and clear of......

Anne Frank

...ANNE FRANK by DylanWilliams I want to write about Anne Frank because her story is just to horrifying especially to a teenager. I couldn’t image how scared she would be. Especially when you stay in an attic for 2 years, you don’t know what is going on, and youre clueless to the outside world. I don’t understand how she went two years of staying inside when I can only do it for a couple of days. Not only was she up there but she had to be quiet during the day so no one will know they are up in the attic. Naother reason I want to write about her. Her story is mjust unbelievablde and catches the readers attention and keeps you on the edge of your seat. And once youre drawn in there is no losing interest. The rising action and conflict is so powerful that it will have you biting your nails. And this story has done those things for over 68 years. The fact that she could have gone on to be one of the greatestwriters in the world, or went on to start a revoluition on the haulocaust. There are many what ifs to her story. And my final reason is because in her story she always had a positive attitude no mateer what the circumstances. The question is how do you have an attitude like that while being hunted and hiding in an attic? In conclusion I think this story is one of the most interesting out of all that I have written. When a story has love, warfare, and family, its kind of hard not to write about it...

...Dodd-Frank Act: Did it Work? Introduction “With the President’s signature, the [Dodd-Frank Act] will mark the greatest legislative change to financial supervision since the 1930s,” according to Margaret Tahyar, partner and member of the New York Financial Institutions Group (Tahyar). Officially signed by Barack Obama on July 21, 2010, the Dodd-Frank Act gave positive hope for the future for financial markets and institutions, being viewed as the “most comprehensive financial reform since the Glass-Steagall Act” (Amadeo). However, since the implementation of the bill, various differing opinions on whether the passing of the act has truly helped or hindered the overall financial economy have prevailed.
