Crown Regency Hotel and Towers

At the Center of Cebu City, Philippines rises the Fuente Towers, hosting the prestigious Crown Regency Hotel & Towers. The tallest structure outside Metro Manila, the 23-storey, 22,000-square meter Fuente 1 and its equally arresting twin the 38- storey, 36,000- square meter Fuente Tower 2 majestically tower over the Queen City of the South. Its location on Fuente Osmena and right in the pulse of Cebu City places Crown Regency Hotel and Towers in close proximity to the major points of commerce and recreation.
Crown Regency Hotel & Towers is an emblematic marriage of monumental form and high technology. The roofing structure will resemble a crown to highlight a regal presence in Queen City of the South. The building’s environmentally responsive design places emphasis on functionality, flexibility and effectiveness. Curtain wall will be built to filter direct external heat and cope with the hot tropical conditions. The building will be glass enclosed to maximize the views.
The top floors of the hotel tower feature an amusement facility which includes a roller coaster that runs around the edge of the building, and a stroll around the edge of the building with the protection of safety harnesses.
Comfort and luxury are the main components of each of the facilities and amenities for guests to enjoy during their stay.
Elegance and sophistication are mimicked in the Presidential suites, spacious conference rooms and functions areas as well. Adjacent to this is the equally regal Tower 2, Club Ultima, which also hosts the 54 executive suites, dining areas and recreation facilities.

...CONCLUSION The Samsung Galaxy S II is a worthy heir of the best-selling smartphone with the Android OS, and it will surely have similar market success due to its impressive features, excellent display, modern and elegant performance, advanced and up-to-date user interface with an abundance of functions. There's no question this is going to be Samsung's best smartphone, and it will surely satisfy the needs of even the most demanding of users. All the top U.S. wireless carriers offer a version of the original Galaxy S, and it seems likely they will be picking up its newest version later this year. Pros: • Very good display • Elegant design • TouchWiz 4.0 user interface • High-quality full HD video recordings • Great performance Cons: • No dedicated key for turning the camera on • Poor photo quality in low lighting • Marketing Genius of Samsung • Samsung has unarguably made the greatest marketing ploy with the Samsung Galaxy S3 imitating in several aspects the marketing strategies of Apple and their products. The company as such has been highly secretive about the Samsung Galaxy S3, often denying the rumors that come out or actively concealing any information that usually is given. The genius of it all remains not in the secrecy, but rather in the “leaks” that actually occur. Photographs taken with the 12MP camera that’s supposed to grace the camera, blurred images of the body of the phone, even invoices of pre orders from various channel partners bearing the name....

...First week in my OJT May 25 Friday Our on-the job training in Tempura Japanese Restaurant took-off with a brief orientation with the store manager. First, the trainees were introduced to the whole staff, followed by a tour inside the store premises-from the dining area, then to the bar and finally in the kitchen. During this tour, the manager gave us a few ideas on how it works and we have our first glimpse on how the restaurant operates. After that activity, he/she gave us our first on-site post: the entrance. We’re instructed to stay there and open the door for the guests. He/She also reminded us that it’s a must to greet the incoming guests with “Yokoso , Ma’am/ Sir” while outgoing customers must hear the words “Doumo arigatou gozaimasu”. May 26 Saturday On our second day on Tempura, the staff taught us the standard position for serving. At the end of this activity, we were expected to learn the basic steps on how to serve the guests efficiently, have an adequate proficiency about the menu including the right pronunciation for each dish. A staff also made a demonstration on table-setting. In this task, the demonstrator specifically pointed-out that the table was set in a specific manner that follows a strict standard. After the activity, we were instructed to go back to our first designated post and usher the guests. May 27 Sunday After two days of warming-up on our new environment, the trainees were able to catch up on the life in Tempura. Day 3 is an exciting day......

...4. Conclusion and Recommendations The qualitative findings give findings give reason for optimism about market interest in the new product because there are many specific attributes that the consumers desire in a tool bag. There are common characteristics that tool bag users are looking for, and Veto Pro can use this information to tailor their product to these specific needs. For example, both Matt and Joe emphasize durability. This allows the tool bags to last longer and eliminate the need to buy a new one. Organization also seems to be an important characteristic of the ideal tool bag. The damage of tools seems to be an important issue, so keeping the tools out of harms way while in the bag is crucial. With the information obtained through the interviews, Veto Pro has a great opportunity to offer a product that satisfies a large target market. Veto Pro should look to exploit the weaknesses of their competition. It is important for Veto Pro to keep their prices reasonable. We found in the interview that tool bag users are only willing to stretch their budget so far in terms of purchasing a tool bag. In terms of brand awareness, neither of our interviewees had heard of Veto Pro. This strikes as a big problem. We recommend that you focus on advertising and getting your product known in the market place. Although the product may offer everything that the consumer needs, if they are not aware of it they cannot purchase it. Word of mouth seems to be an effective marketing...

...existence, operations and public image. They can create goodwill for any business in the market boosting its revenue promising a bright future. While on the other hand breaching or ignoring the same business ethics can do more harm and may lead to a market failure and company closure. Ethics play an important role not only while initiating a business but also when it faces issues like that of defective products. The following report will highlight the role of ethical behavior in management of defective product by taking a real example of Breast Implant manufacturing company which had to dissolve following the product failure in the market. This report will discuss the chain of issues that led to the defects and will draw a contrast and a conclusion based upon how PIP behaved ethically in order to deal with such burning issues. Background of the Company Poly Implant Prothèse (PIP) A French company started in 1991 that produced breast implants. 2000: Implant sales in USA halted by an FDA launched moratorium on silicone implants. 2001: PIP began to use unapproved in-house manufactured industrial-grade instead of medical grade silicon in the majority of its implants. 2003: the first signs of legal problems and financial losses can be traced by regulatory filings. 2009: Concerns surfaced in France first in 2009 when surgeons started reporting an abnormally high rupture rates. ...Development Learning Center Educational Institutions * ------------------------------------------------- West Manila Christian School Educational Institutions Summary of ojt experience Finally my 200 hours of OJT is finally done. For a month I learned a lot of things “One of the most important things I’ve learned is that talent alone is not enough. It is important, but it is no guarantee of success. One must also be hardworking and should practice self-discipline. Sacrifice is important, too. “I learned through experience how to interact and communicate with people. You should Ask your boss if they have some work for you to do. You never know; they might hire you after the internship or in the future. Finally my 200 hours of OJT is finally done. For a month I learned a lot of things. I think studying is harder than working, though; the real world is easier than college  Compiling datas and save them. This whole OJT experience was a combination of fun, new learnings and new discoveries. In sum, the whole OJT experience wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. In fact, the 200 hours was a breeze except for those days when I had a hard time waking up, when traffic was really bad and when I was feeling lazy and out of it. Going to work and seeing some friendly faces helped a great deal. Having to do OJT with friends made it a whole lot easier for me.  My success couldn’t turn into reality without this following person who with all their help to me in different......

...Conclusion MAS, has been suffering from an economic downfall, with the value of the RM fluctuating against the dollar and bad business decisions still costing the organization money. The management team at MAS is large and MAS has been rapidly expanding into new business ventures within the travel business, so at least they are sticking to what they know. To still be operating in the next5 years, MAS is going to need to change what is currently happening and play catch up with their rivals. Fortunately air travel in Asia is expected to increase when the downturn is over, but that still leaves the European and American markets. By creating strategic alliances with other firms such as KLM, MAS has a chance of getting an increase in travel to European and America. While all these changes take place it is important that MAS respects the culture and structure that have been built up over the history of MAS and to try and not change these aspects of the company too fast. Once re-structured the poorly performing operations can be sold off and MAS can concentrate on the operational activities that prove profitable. It is then up to MAS to market these properly and let their customers know what is available to them and at what price. The major changes include restructuring the organization and implementing a low cost no frill airline that will allow MAS to service local customers wishing to fly within Asia. Brand name is all important so through all the changes it is important that......

...On-the-job training (OJT) is a form of training taking place in a normal working situation. OJT will generally help the students to increase their productivity and skills. It also help the students to become a young professional. It also helps the students to acquire relevant knowledge and skills by performing in actual work setting. Last April, i started my ojt at bsp. the required number of hours for us is 300 hrs. i was assigned at the eflc under liss with the supervision of ms catherine platon. eflc is the focal point of contact of the public of information concerning economic and financial matters. Instead of gathering various information from different departments/locations within the BSP, researchers can just visit the EFLC for their information requirements. i have observed their daily activities that they must comply. at the first week of my ojt, i was so nervous because they are professional people. i have to act professional to have a good impression o them. but at time goes by, i find myself working with them harmoniously. the staff are very approachable and nice. they are not really the serious type all the time. sometimes, you can joke and chitchat with them. they always bring food and share it with their co-employess and even to me. as a trainee, i have my tasks to do given by my supervisor. on the 1st day of my ojt, she told me that im going to have a prjoect and it will be passed at the end of my ojt. she told me to do a manual about the FAQs at......

Conclusion

...Conclusion In the starting of the experiment, we construct a body of the water rocket, which is made out of unwanted bottles. Other than that, we used wood plank, PVC tube, wire holder and bicycle tire to build the water rocket launcher After conduct this experiment, we found that heat will affect the temperature change. The time taken for the water rocket launched into the air and drop to the ground is longer. Hence, the hypothesis is accepted. As what we did in the experiment, we prepared 8 different temperature of water and insert into the body of the water rocket. After we conduct the experiment, we realized that there are some mistakes which made our results less reliable. The temperature recorded for all specimens were too close because they were measured by a lab thermometer. In future, when we repeat this experiment, we will use a digital thermometer which has a high sensitivity to get a more accurate reading. Besides that, we found that there is some error occurs when we pour water into the bottle (body of water rocket). There is heat loss during the pouring process. The temperature of water may drop since there is evaporation occurs. But fortunately, we quickly measured the water temperature as long as we pour the water into the bottle to ensure that the error occurs won’t be different with our expectation. Finally, it is......

Team Assignment Conclusion Joseph A Campbell BCOM/275 12/20/2014 MARK BARNHART When looking Back When looking back on this past course and wondering what this course may have in relations to my career plan. This course has a lot to do with my future not only does this relate directly to what I'm looking to do with the rest of my life but this also has helped me understand entirely how and what ways I should speak to people. For example this came in big help just today when at work I had a situation with an employee who was taking medication that was prescribed to him now when taking this medication it altered his being he was a different person in the way he reacted was different in which I did not care for. Now when looking back on this course and thinking about things that were presented to us throughout all the readings that we have done I realize that I needed to sit back and think about what I was going to say before I set it so that everything that had come out of my mouth was entirely professional and legal before I had said anything. Through the Readings This is not only the way that this course has helped me this is also help me it drastically with my public speaking when speaking two groups of people larger than one or two this is help me understand exactly how I should present it and what type of materials I should be presenting to these people as well. I have found that everything that we have read has correlated with everything that I have intended on in......

...I started my On-the-Job-Training at EcoWaste Coalition last April 19, 2010. Actually, it was my first time to go there not knowing that after having my orientation about the things that they do in their office, I can already start working. At first, I was really nervous because I don’t have any working experience and also, it’s a new environment for me because I have to deal with people who are a lot older than I am. I was really shy for the first few days of my OJT because I was still observing the people around me and I became very conscious especially on how I act and behave in front of them. But after a few days of being shy and aloof, I was already starting to share my ideas about things and I was already comfortable and confident whenever I’m with them. During the OJT, I was able to join 6 of their events. The first event was a press conference held at Max’s Restaurant in Quezon City Circle. It was about who among the presidentiables has a great concern to our environment. I this presscon, I was assigned to prepare media kits and to take pictures while the conference was going on. The second event was about having a bill in the senate about our environment. There were discussions made by different speakers and some journalists and lawyers were present during this event. I was seated near the entrance gate to accommodate the guests in terms of letting them sign the attendance sheet, make their name plates, give them media kits, and assist them to their respective seats....
