The Vent Analysis Justin Scott (born August 26, 1986), better known by his stage name Big K.R.I.T (King Remembered In Time), is an American hip hop recording artist and record producer from Meridian, Mississippi. The lyrics of this song are commonly written like most songs with consonance, rhyme, and metaphors. In the case of the song The Vent it is fully written with other figures of language such as, imagery, allusions, that reveal the subject of the song, which is the mind of a person conflicted with emotions and nowhere to go, like holding a filled cup of water and it keeps filling and you have nowhere to empty it as it piles up and starts to overflow before the person drops and breaks the glass as a shattered psyche similar to a mental breakdown.
The first topic of discussion is derived from the title. Venting is something we all at some point in our lives have been known to go through. It refers to the very moment when immense emotion is pent up in our mind our souls and most importantly our hearts so we need to find a way to channel these emotions calmly and peacefully through a listening ear. The Vent, like anyone else who has gone through this was a moment in this man's life where he had all of these emotions, these mental aches and pains, and what he goes through when he can no longer repress these emotions and needs to get something off his chest .
The writer uses allusion in some parts of the lyrics, trying to explain the rational mind of a sane person for advice or some type of guidance . For instance in the verse “ask Kurt Cobain why, cause I need to know, he stopped when he had such a long way to go” (KRIT), if the reader is not a Kurt Cobain fan, then this sentence may be rendered mute. What he means by making this allusion is that he wanted to know what went through Kurt's mind during his time of emotional stress and why suicide was the answer when Kurt Cobain had a Long career ahead of him. Also an allusion to GOD as to judging his actions in life as a gauge to see if he will end up in either Heaven or Hell " Trade my materials for a peace of mind I am so close to heaven, hell, I just need some time." He feels like he’s so close to success and all the happiness that comes from it, but it’ll take a little more time and hard work to get there. Sometimes this last bit of time and hard work is the most strenuous and hardest to overcome. Also a play on the words “Heaven” and “Hell”
Since the writer is wealthy but comes from a religious background they think that they would rather give up the money and possessions for peace of mind, inner peace, or even simple happiness. He thinks that with money he might be clouded by these items and lose sight of his faith and be condemned reflected from another bar or line of music " Too much shine can dull the soul if you feel how I feel, dare I rap some more".
In the song the writer sympathizes with many of his fans everybody has is or will go through a rough patch in their life , he understands the pain at which this person is going through and shares his pain explaining his deep pain screaming for them. People have troubled lives some better than others but we all have our faults and our problems but he will listen to us when we vent and vice versa. He has been there for his significant other when she has needed him the most and now that he has lost his grandmother, he has lost that one person he could vent to. The writer uses personification to express or paint a vivid picture of how his emotions connect with the weather. In the line "It's funny how the sun will up and bow to rain as if the clouds couldn't stand to see me outside again." What the writer is implying here is that the ‘rain’ or negative things in life seem to hold more power over the ‘sun’ or the positive things in life because it seems the sun bows to the rain whenever the rain comes around. He also comments that it’s as if the rain or bad times emerge whenever he tries to step out into the light, perhaps commenting that he can never catch a break.

Basically the interpretation of this song is everyone goes through life with battle scars whether they are emotional, physical or mental. At last, after all the analysis, the pointed facts made by the writers reflections of how he deals with his emotions running rampant using imagery, allusion, metaphor, and rhyme lead to the assumption that The Vent is the process of dealing with depression and wandering emotions.

Many students come from broken homes, in terms of split families, violence in the home and home is where it is a safe haven for many young children who are of school age. Most students today need someone who is unbiased and will just listen to them vent and let out all their fears and anger. Most schools staff counselors who can attend to these children in a time of need through death of a family member or even a traumatic experience in the school. Counselors deal with students who can handle students with behavioral problems or who will just sit and listen to a student going through a tough divorce in the family. The company owns now more than 15 000 coffee shops around the globe: it is settled in North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle-East and Asia. The diversity and depth of its offer (from smooth to extra roasted coffee, African, Arabian or Latin, and all the muffins, cookies and sandwiches) allow them to count on an international exposure that has last for many years. Still, their business tends to be flattening. And the number of competitors in their core-business market, even if the competition stays way back them, is growing constantly. For instance, the results of a value chain analysis could be put in the context of data from a PESTEL and 5-Forces analysis and are likely to provide more insight if they are. * Pull together your analyses and ask: 'What are the major issues that future strategy needs to address?'. * In all of this consider what information is there in all the tables, annexes and appendices? What are they and how do they relate to and inform the questions above? Step 3: Develop and Evaluate Strategic Options (Planning – Assignment B) * Use the results of these analyses as a starting point for developing strategic options. You will have begun to think of what the organisation might do during your analyses. Note these down. * But don't just rely on these. ...  Our analysis is based on a UK based leisure complex. This part covers the analysis of the company’s most important segments i.e. cash flow statement and the income statement. CASH FLOW Analysis In the first month there is a negative cash balance because more cash is going out of the business because of cash spent on purchasing fixed assets. The cash balance remains negative till August. This is because the receipts have been constantly low due to less number of members and so the revenue received from membership fees and other incomes was less than the payments. After August the cash balance is positive and is increasing, as the number of members has increased and as a result the revenue from membership fees and other incomes have increased. At the end of the year, the cash balance is negative which not a good sign for the leisure complex as there is less cash in the bank to maintain solvency. The business needs to obtain funds through sources in order to fill in the cash shortages. Income Statement analysis There is a loss in the first four months because there is less number of members and as a result there is less revenue from membership fees and other incomes. The firm starts earning profit from the fifth month which is considerably increasing till the end of the year. This is because more members are joining the club each month, thus the revenue from membership fees and other incomes have......
