P2 Unit 6 care | Knowledge` | In secondary school I did study BTEC Health and Social Level 2 so I do know quite the basics about Health and Social. I got a merit for this course, I could have got a distinction but I did do 3 more other subjects which I had to focus on as well. I always had an interest in this subject because it expanded my knowledge in a range of things as I done 7 units covering 7 topics. My teacher explained each unit clearly and if we wanted help she would have gave us that support to make it more understandable. Whilst I was doing this course I realised this course is for people who want to pursue a career in a health and social care sector, to become a nurse, midwife, social worker, counsellor , care worker etc. That’s why I carried on to do level 3 at sixth form. | When I started this course in September (Health and Social Level 3) I had more of an understanding of what I’ll gain in terms of skills and a lot of knowledge. I knew as this was a BTEC Health and Social course it would consist 100% of coursework but my teacher gave me more information about this course such as there is 6 units in year 12 and another 6 in year 13. My knowledge in Health and Social is getting better as my teachers told me what to include in my assignments and how to get a pass merit and distinction. Whilst I’m doing this course I’ve learnt many things that would help me in university such as how to reference and also how to write up bibliographies. ......

Unit 5 P2 Definitions

...P2 - Definitions Capital Income: This is the net worth of a business. It’s the amount in which assets exceed liabilities. It’s the income that comes from capital, which means it’s coming directly from the government itself, rather than any specific production or direct work. Capital income includes stock dividends or any sort of capital gains, as well as income an owner gets from a business they own. Sole traders: If you’re self-employed then it means you work for yourself, and not for an employer. A sole-trader is a self-employed person and they are the sole owner of their business. Partners: Partners are people who have shares within businesses. This means they don’t solely own the business; it could be split by 2 or more people, starting with a 50% share for 2 people and so on. Shares: If someone has a share within a business, it means that they have a unit of ownership within a corporation or financial asset. However, owning shares of a business doesn’t generally mean that they have direct control over said business on a day to day basis, but they are entitled to an equal distribution of any profits if any end up being declared in the form of dividends. Loans: A loan is something that is borrowed, generally money. This means people borrow a sum of money (often a large sum of money) and they’re expected to pay it back, with interest. Mortgages: A mortgage is a legal agreement between somewhere like a bank or building society, and they lend money in agreement that...

...Joseph Jones P2 describe the main employability, personal and communication skills required when applying for a specific job role. In this task I will be writing about the main employability, personal and communications skills required to be a P.E teacher. The main employability skills required to be a P.E teacher are that they actually have the required qualifications for the desired role. If they do not have the qualifications to be a P.E teacher then there is no way at all that they would be employed by anyone to teach P.E. The fact that an employee has the required qualifications shows that they have the desire to work hard in order to get the job and it shows that they care about their future and they want to succeed. Other employability skills that employers look for is previous experience in a similar role, employers look for experience in specific roles as if they are experienced in the certain role then they will know what they are doing in the job. Another employability skill that employers look for is the ability to observe standards and the ability to further raise them standards. This is key for the job as a P.E teacher as P.E teachers are always expected to raise the standard of physical education within the schools that they teach. Other generic employability skills that employers would look for are punctuality, honesty, and fairness. These skills are required in every job. The main personal skill that an employer will look for in a P.E teacher is......

Unit 29 M2

...M2 Unit 29 Different retailing businesses have very different distribution methods based on the types of product that they sell, some arguably more effectively than others. As mentioned in an earlier assignment, there are three main types of distribution channels. The first is the channel that goes from the producer, then to the wholesaler, then to the retailer or sells to the consumer. The second channel starts with the producer who sells straight to the retailer, who then sells to the consumer. The third channel goes directly from the producer to the consumer. Channels one and two are classed as indirect marketing channels, whereas channel three is a direct marketing channel as it goes straight from producer to consumer. All of the distribution channels start with a producer who will create the products, for example the person that milks the cows to get milk. For the first channel, the producer makes the product and then sells it to a wholesaler, such as Costsco who will purchase a huge quantity of products from them. They would do this to make sure that they have enough to sell onto retailers. They would keep a large amount of the product, for example some kind of confectionary, in there warehouse so they’re in a suitable environment to be kept until they’re sold on. Next, the retailer, who could be a small store or a larger store, who would want to purchase a specific amount of products from the wholesalers, not in as bulk form as the wholesaler would have purchased...

...P2 In this task I am going to define the four key channels of the delivery of goods and examples of products that would use each channel. Also I will define for each produce the way this is the most suitable. The creation starts with the creator, who makes or goods a certain item. Once they have made the products they will send it to the wholesaler who buy the items in bulk and package the items separately. Once individually packaged they get transported out to the retailer (shops) who have transported the element in unpackaged (not brought as many as the wholesaler but big enough to get a discount) and sell the products to the customer. On behalf of instance Runnymede CDC (central distribution centre) package and distribute goods to airports such as Stanstead and Gatwick, these properties will include alcohol, tobacco, confectionary items and cosmetic goods. The producer would start with the raw materials to make beer, such as barley and yeast, once he has got the resources and made and bottled the beer. He would then send it to a wholesaler; they would want to get the beer in bulk and would ask for thousands of bottles, due to them marketing them onto other establishments. When the wholesaler has the beer they will individually package the beer (into a 6 pack) and will then distribute the beer to the airports. Once the beer has reached the airport, it will be sold in the duty-free area and will be sold to the passengers boarding planes (also known as regulars). The main...

An example of this is a rise in corporation tax which is based on business profits, has the same effect as it would if there was an increase in costs. Another government policy that can affect Tesco is interest rates. If the government decides to raise interest rates, the cost of the business borrowing money will rise and can cause consumers to spend less, which would influence Tesco do to a fall in sales. They have to abide by any changes that the government makes in regard to general rules, which could influence the way the run their business. nfluence the purpose of Tesco Plc and Oxfam.
