If I knew I couldn’t Fail, I would just go ahead and do this.

I am sure all of us kids have our view on “Homeworks”. Getting up in the morning, practically have time to start and go to school and there for 6 hours its studies and learning.

I honestly want my time once I am back home.

Hello
Everybody, today I am going to talk about the topic, If I knew I couldn’t fail, what would I do .I would like to tell you all a story of two small boys like me.
In a far away land there were two friends, boys of age 10 and 7. They played amongst themselves and on a bright spring day, they start flying their kites and wander off a little far away from their home. The boys in their excitement didn’t see an open hole or well with water. The 10 year old boys slips in to it. Now the 7 year old boy screams for help but no one there. He sees a bucket with a rope and instantly drops it in and the older boy holds on to it, this fragile younger boy, pulls it and pulls it and after sometime his friend crawls back. Hooray, both of them run back to their homes. The parents listen to their stories and feel they are making it up, how can a small 7 year old boy pull out a 10 year old boy ? But only one man believes them, so the friends are happy. The younger boys father is little angry that one of the neighbours is believing this story and asks him how is it possible. The neighbor replies, “Well no one told the boy that he will fail. He never had the thought “What if I fail”, all that young boy knew and wanted was to bring his friend back to safety”

So friends, we have to decide whether we are going to be afraid of failure and use it as an excuse for not doing something or we are going to go all out and do it.
The students of Georgia from third grade have to give the Georgia milestone exams. My teacher and my parents taught me how to prepare using the study guides, online websites and prepare myself to succeed in the exams. So preparation is the key to success. So if I prepare well and stay focused I will not FAIL.

My other thought process is why waste a chance thinking that one would fail, Instead of just doing it and succeeding. Even failure is a stepping stone to success. If you fail and don’t get discouraged. It doesn’t matter. Keep practicing, we will be standing on the top of the steps. Show to the world, you can succeed.
I see my little 8 months old Cousin brother, the cute baby, trying to walk and going down Boom on the ground. Sometimes he cries. But again he is standing up holding on to the chair, table or one of us and trying to keep a step forward. My mom teases me saying I also did the same. But babies never think they will fail right ? So we should all develop the cute baby attitude.
And another point I want to share is why give so much importance to the end result. Is it not more important that we enjoy the process, process of doing it ? I may not get a A+ in all my subjects in Georgia milestone, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy my fourth grade with my friends. I learnt a lot, fought a little, attended my classmates birthday parties and had a fun filled fourth grade. So enjoying the process is one way of keeping ourselves from worrying about the end result.
I would like to end my talk with one story.

I have heard the Indian Epic Ramayana and for many of us the monkey God, Hanuman is a Hero.

Hanuman is diligently searching for Mother Sita, He is worried he may not succeed. He tells himself not to worry about not finding her,With positive thinking he rejuvenates himself, searches again with more effort and finally succeeds in finding her.

Anirvedaha shriyo moolam
Anirvedaha param sukham
Anirvedo hee satatam sarva artheshu pravartakah

The Meaning is Positive thinking or cheerful attitude is root of success. It leads to victory. Positive thinking or cheerful attitude leads to happiness and bliss.

Since I know I wouldn’t fail I plan to become a teacher, a doctor, a movie director and so on.

Thanks you for listening to my talk. Bye.…...

What I Have Learned

...LIFE, AS WE KNOW IT From different ups and downs I had experienced and from different people I have met in my college days, I can say that I had learned so much, much more than high school and elementary days. If those younger years let me become learned of basic education, this stage of life, being a college student taught me more than medical and nursing concepts. But it also taught me about other aspects of life such as the whole life itself, understanding other people’s life and feelings, knowing how me, myself and I help me in every problems, treasuring friendships and respecting other people. Health care spirituality is one of the courses that let me learn how these things affect my living. It teaches me more about life and the consequences of it. Life is a continuing process of learning. I believe that the every good deed, and everything we do to others, will not be written on transcript of records, but recorded on Almighty’s. At first, going to college made me feel ambivalent feelings. Feelings of excitement, fear, feeling of being misunderstood, not being heard, and of being alone. Coming from a Catholic school high school institution, I decided to choose a Catholic college institution. One selfish reason is that, I prefer to go to school which has a lower dense of population, I don’t prefer to be in a crowded universities and college, because I think that the lower the population is, the more focused the teachers and administration can give to the students.......

What I Have Become

...| What I Have Become | Sandtron Leon Harrell | | | | Approaching the end of my Fall Semester of 2011 I had accomplished one of the greatest things in my life. I had become a member Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated. All was well and I felt as though there was not too much else for me to conquer. Then as the semester drew to a close being advised and selecting classes for the Spring Semester began to be advertised all over myUWG. So to rid myself of all the irksome alerts of West Georgia I went and got advised. While selecting my classes my advisor brought up Personal Relationships. When I first heard it the first two things I thought were “my girlfriend took that class” and “she said it was easy.” So with me being the collegiate student I am I decided I would take it. I figured why not I’m in a personal relationship I should be able to relate. The first day of class was definitely not what I expected. I did not know that my teacher would look, think and talk like a student! From then on I knew that this was class was going to have the biggest impact on me, the way I thought, the way I talked, the way I evaluated relationships and how I looked at my life’s up and downs all together we’re going to change in due time. From the time I got advised up to the first day of class I honestly thought that this was just going to be another class. When in reality it wasn’t just another class, it was going to be THE class. From January 10, 2012 and so on, my life......

What I Remember Most

...me it was my grandmother’s house. My grandmother’s house has a very special place in my heart. I lived with my grandmother for many years when I was little. There has never been a place where I had a feeling of such joy and happiness. What a wonderful feeling of joy and peace waking up in my Grandmother’s home, that grew small as I grew big. The humble white house with black trimming that my great great grandfather built had a tall chimney and a broke down picket fence that my brother and I loved to run and jump over in the small town of Mound Bayou Mississippi. From the squeaky front porch swing you could see all the way down the street. Looking to the left you could see my grandmother’s country store, and to the right there was a field with grass as tall as the days were long that my friends and I loved to play hide-n-seek in. Knowing if I lay in bed long enough I would soon hear my grandmother's heavy feet rushing down the hall opening the back porch door to go hang clothes that she had just finished hand washing. The door made a squeal, almost a wine then a slam! I was sure the door was responsible for waking me up every morning in that house. Her feet would almost stomp as she rushed back to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for my brother and I before school. I would lay there and say to myself that 5 a.m. was too early for anybody to get up and do anything. Soon I would hear my grandmother and Miss Minnie laughing, teasing and enjoying the company of one......

I Am What I Am

...“I Am What I AM” is a musical which was on shown in January in Sheung Wan Civic Centre. The story of the musical is actually a real-life story adapted from a Singapore transgender person, Abigail, about making a tough decision of being loyal to her true gender. Abigail’s frustration of whether to take the Sex Reassignment Surgery (“SRS” for short) or not was exquisitely presented in the musical, so as to communicate with the audience and encourage them to have an in-depth review about the related issue. Why Abigail hopes to be a female rather than a male? To uncover the underlying reasons, let’s start with knowing more about her life in early stage. Being born as a boy, Abigail felt that he was a girl deeply inside his mind. Liked other normal little girls, he loved playing Barbie dolls and doll’s houses. Presenting girls’ characteristics in his childhood gave him a derogatory nickname, “Girlish Boy”, which was frequently called by his classmates in primary school. Trying to conceal his female mind, Abigail always made himself looks like stronger, self-reliant through behaviors, thoughts but seems that was not successful. His classmates continued to laugh at him with offensive languages. When he grew up, he felt much more natural and comfortable to play with girls while sensed shy to play with boys. In Singapore, boys who aged 18 had to serve their duty in military. During that period, Abigail took baths in late evening after all the other soldiers took their baths. It......

What I Have Learned

...What Have I Learned By Charles Myers When I started this course I was not aware there were so many types of written communication being used in the work place. The field of technical communication is a lot more involved and diverse than what I was aware of. In my past line of work I was not exposed to much in the way of technical writing, I mainly used part drawings and something we called route sheets. These were documents that followed a part through the manufacturing process from start to finish. At the time I was using them I did not think about what went into designing them so they would be easy to read and interpret by all people who came in contact with them. Now I have a greater respect for people that have to design such documents on a daily basis. After taking this course I feel I would be more able to do something like this myself if the need ever comes. The course has also helped me see the need for having a well written resume in order find a better job once I complete my course of study. I have never needed a resume before in the field of work that I was in, but I can see that will probably change when I change careers. The field that I plan to go into will give me a greater chance to use the skills I have learned in this course more so than anything I have done before. I still do not consider myself to be a writer, but I am better prepared with the basics and have the course text that I can use to refer back on when the need arises. I now see that I......

What I Have Learned

...A few Things I have learned in my 18 Years Life tosses a lot of lessons, some are difficult to learn and some are easier, it’s all about how you handle it. Something’s that life wants you to know, are little and stupid and seem life they don’t have any significance to your life. However, it is either going to educate you not to do it again, or it will be a amusing story to tell your friends down the road. The little things make life a little lighter sometimes where as the large things helps you open your eyes and helps you in the long run. Life has taught me numerous things. Everyday I learn something new, adding to that list. One of the very first things that I recall learning, is to not lie on the ground attempting to look underneath the vacuum when mom is in the middle of vacuuming. For some individuals, this lesson is one that does not need to be learned, but for me, it was something I had to learn. Spending hours of crying, as my mother pulled every strand of hair out, and hours of my mom being annoyed yet laughing about it anyways because how bizarre is it, that I got my hair stuck in the vacuum. While facing the pain, I thought I learned that I should steer clear of housework; my mom on the other hand, did not. Something else I have learned is that telling someone that they look ill or worn-out, isn’t going to make him or her feel better. I, of all people should know, this because if someone were to walk up to me and say something like that, my heart would...

What I Learned

...Through this course I acquired the knowledge to use in different approaches when dealing with a company internationally. I now have a perspective of the international network, and the challenges in the international environment. My first perspective is the component parts of an international company, and understanding internally how it all comes together. Now I see why it helps to identify the company’s strengths and weaknesses, prioritize the company’s tasks to solve them in the right order and synchronize efforts to move in the same direction. We covered subjects such as globalization, differences in cultures, the strategy of international business, and the organization of international business, global human resource management and global marketing. This knowledge is important because it gives me an understanding of how to utilize the knowledge behind a product, and bring inside knowledge to everyone on the team I create. I see how it’s not the physical product itself that makes an impact on the market, but how you utilize the knowledge behind the product such as the services and culture. The real value of knowledge is not the product but how to use everything to create a competitive advantage anywhere. A company has many different units, and sometimes they are not all aligned to the same. By looking more closely at challenges, when dealing with forming the strategy to implementing the strategy, I am now able to identify the misunderstandings between the decided......

What I Want to Be

...Where Am I, Where I Want to Go and What I Want to Be To begin, I will be starting this essay by saying right now I’m very content with where I am in life. Of course there’s always room for some improvement, but where I am right now I’m pretty content with being a working student who’s kind’ve scatter brained but has so many ideas in my head and dreams to achieve. Where I want to go, I really want to possibly be in a different state or even downtown Miami. Somewhere where I can branch out a little more and be way more adventurous, without any holds (my parents). And where I want to be, in a few years from now I want to be in the entertainment business whether it’s maybe managing a celebrity, or writing for a fashion magazine or even being a correspondent on a television show that reports pop culture such as E!, MTV or VH1. Furthermore, where I am right now like I mentioned above I’m quite content. I work in retail, I own a car, I have a decent income, I’m still at home with my parents but I don’t depend on them so much. I have a social life, and a great group of friends and I’m in a happy time at age 21. Although, I wish I could of course be exceeding a little more that’s what school is for! And attending school is another thing that I’m happy with, because without it I’d probably be extremely bored at home and putting my brain to no good use. Continuing on, where I want to go I’d love to be downtown in a few years from now or even in California. And I say......

What I Want

...2015 What I Want Generally when asked what is most important to someone, one would reply: my family, my friends, or my dog, but when I think deeply about what is most important in my life, it is my future and being successful. When should one begin planning for their life ahead? I believe you should start practically from birth. Ever since I was little I knew school was important and in order to be financially stable I would have to stay focused in order to succeed. Beginning in my childhood my choices have put me where I am today. For example I have succeeded through all schooling from elementary through high school. My choice of classes in high school allowed me to come into UNF with 21 credits and gave me a semester to explore majors without having to make a scary decision. Also because I took honors, AP, and dual enrollment courses I ended my high school career with a 4.4 GPA. These decisions have helped me get on the right path to being successful. My everyday life decisions are a reflection of my overall goal. For example I choose to go to every one of classes daily and never make it an option to myself whether I am going or not. In order to be successful one must be organized which is why in high school I took a class called AVID to help prepare me for college and it taught about organization skills like keeping a planner which in college keeps me on track with when my assignments are due. Another factor in my life today is the fact that I......

What Should I Do?

...What Should I Do? First off I would begin to reassure Kim that I understand that she has never been through a planning process before, so there’s no need for her to panic. I would then explain to her that the departmental plan is merely a written explanation on how to accomplish and to achieve the objectives discussed and agreed upon in last month’s meeting. I would then begin to tell her to utilize and incorporate her expertise of her 7 years as a sales specialist. She should deal directly with the warehouse clerks and get a printout of what time of the month or year sales is at its peak. I would first suggest that she juts down the specifics on what takes place daily in her department, and also I would suggest that other associates in that department compile the same thing and submit them to Kim. That way she will get the gist of what everyone in her department does and everyone would then be in agreement with that objective. Kim should also seek the previous manager for advice and expert advice if at all possible. I think that Kim’s initial reaction to the planning process is a usual one. Everyone if put into a new position would get cold feet. Even if you have had experience in and with a company for years, your new roll and what is expected in a promotion is new. No one knows what to expect until trained and it is okay to ask questions. Until she becomes familiar with what is expected of her, any new task will seem overwhelming, until she gets the hang of it....

What I Know

...great life skill, but the fact is I obviously don’t and neither does anybody else. I’m here to write about what I do know, such as what I do at work, know when to shut my mouth, historical events, and etcetera. I’m not big on psychology in a broad range, but I do enjoy abnormal psychology and learning about anti-social behavioral people that make-up society. I started working at an airport after I graduated high school back in May of 2015. My job seems pretty simple in what I am told to do, but the work is a pain in the ass. I clean planes for a bunch of rich bastards that do nothing it seems except fly planes and go to swinger clubs. I also mow the airport mainly in the summer and not so much in the winter. Mowing is my favorite part because I can go do my own thing and not listen to dumbass Bill (who just got fired recently, Thank God) rant about how Fox News is what kids need to watch to learn something. I’m not a liberal, but I hate Fox News by the way. All Fox News does is rant about something non-stop and repeat the same thing over and over. Well anyways, the job pays the bills and that is what matters. School is very important as you may know, but at the same time homework sucks. My favorite area of learning is about history. Partly due to the fact I can easily memorize historical events. Another area of what I know but strongly dislike is math. Math is one of those things that I’m good at and hate, but do it anyway because I know how. I know that abnormal......

That's Not What I Believe

...That’s Not What I Believe October 2, 2011 Years ago when the winter Olympics were in Salt Lake City a news reporter went around to public places in Utah and interviewed as many Mormons as he could to try and get an idea of what Mormons “really believe.” I distinctly recall how surprised I was when everyone he interviewed, despite all being Mormon, described beliefs that were very different from my own and even different from each other. My mom, sister and I stood around the TV frustrated. How could these people get it so wrong? Didn’t any of them pay attention in church? This was a lesson I wouldn’t internalize until years later. Like many ex-Mormons, I’m guilty as charged when it comes to digging up amusing, factually wrong or plain absurd things that Mormon leaders have said or comment on absurd or destructive teachings. Even so, just because the church teaches something doesn’t mean all Mormons believe a certain way. A really poignant example is the godmakers cartoon, which I should point out is not and never was “banned.” The cartoon suffers from two problems. First, it’s old, and reflects teachings of the church from the 1960s and 70s. It was released in 1982, and of course the exact date that any given teaching was abandoned is rather fuzzy since the leaders don’t exactly go to the pulpit and say “we no longer believe this.” They just stop talking about it. The second problem with that cartoon is that while the church did legitimately teach everything they mention,...
