WHEN IS THE RIGHT TIME?
Isa:51:5: My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.
Isa: 51:6: Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
Lu:1:77: To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,
Ac:4:12: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Ac:28:28: Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.
Ro:13:11: And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
2Co:6:2: (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Did you ever ask “When is really the right time to serve the Lord or to get saved?” Some may have and some doesn’t care. Some took it for granted intentionally and some were just not informed. We as the servants of God have the duty or responsibility to spread the Gospel. But first, what is SALVATION really means? In theology, SALVATION is the act of delivering from sin or saving from evil. Moreover, it is a means of preserving from harm or unpleasantness.
What are the steps to attain SALVATION?
Romans 10:17: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
First is Hearing. As of now, you’re on the first step since you’re listening to the Word of God. Second is faith, it is the complete…...

Is Now the Right Time to Invest in Buy-to-Let Property

...Is now the right time to invest in buy-to-let property Introduction In 2012 the average rental price has reached a new high which may encourage savers to invest in a buy-to-let property. This has led to raise the question from experts if now is the right time to invest in buy-to-let mortgage. This essay will explore whether now is the right time to invest in buy-to-let property and the implications of such investment. Furthermore I will identify and summarize 4 relevant academic journal articles and I will show how they link to the topic chosen. I will also identify a research gap. Summary of the story In July the average rental price has reached a new high which may seem encouraging to savers to invest in a buy-to-let property. However some of the leading experts in this area has questioned whether this is the right time for such an investment. Despite the attraction of rising rents, there are a number of potential issues associated with investing in the buy-to-let market. Over the last few years rents have increased as would be buyers struggle to raise enough deposits or meet lenders’ strict mortgage criteria to buy their own homes. Just for last month the average rent in England and Wales has risen by 1 percentage point to £725 per month, which is the fourth consecutive monthly increase. Over 100,000 tenants have fallen into a mortgage debt, while the number of landlords who struggle to meet their mortgage repayment is increasing. Potential implications on......

Tax Treatment When Employees Surrender Paid Time Off to Benefit Others

...In the wake of hurricane Sandy many people were forced to take time off work in order to get their personal lives back in order and in many cases the time that was taken off exceeded their paid time off. This prompted many employers to create PTO-donation and leave sharing programs in which employees could donate the pay from their PTO to people in need. The question then came up as to how this donated compensation should be taxed. The IRS ruled that in most cases the employee who is donating the PTO must include the amount donated as compensation income. Because the donation is compensation income it is still subject to FICA and state/federal income taxes. There are a few ways these taxes may be paid; by the employee resulting in less cash for them, my the employer costing them money, or by taking it out of the donated amount resulting in a lesser donation. Because the PTO is being donated to a charitable organization on the employees behalf the employee is able to take the amount donated as a charitable contribution deduction on their tax return. Employees who do not participate in the donation program are unaffected by their choice not to participate. This is because of the doctrine of constructive receipt does not apply to them. Basically because the payments are not being directed to the charitable organization the employee is receiving the funds of their PTO themselves and will have to pay their own taxes on their own if they choose to use the money. Employees who...

Right Place, Right Time

...Right Place, Right Time. PFC Davis, Cody First, scheduling a time and place to be at work is a very important duty for any leader, in any job force. For employees to show up on time and prepared to work is just as important, if not more. Being in the right place at the right time is extremely essential to accomplishing a mission as an employee, whether the goal is big or small. Dependability, accountability, consistency and discipline are all crucially related to being a soldier; however, being on time and in the right place is the most critical part of being a successful employee. Without this aspect of attitude, the mission in place becomes more difficult than need be. Not being on time hinders not only the person responsible, but also the people responsible for him or her. If accountability is not under control, mission capability, and readiness is affected in a bad way. Being a soldier in the United States Army, I am expected to portray myself at a higher standard than the average citizen of my stature. While being on time remains and always will be a vital aspect of military bearing and discipline, without it, we as a whole cannot function to our highest capability. In the army, it is stressed upon every soldier the importance of being where we are supposed to be. It is your responsibility as well as the responsibility of your leaders. They are responsible for your actions and so are you, if you fail to take responsibility of your actions, and it is a reoccurring......

Rights for Part Time Employees

...Rights for Part Time Employees A definition of what is known as a part time employer according to Daniels and Macdonald (2005, pg 92) “someone who works fewer hours than of what a company standard is which full time employers work. Part time workers have the same statutory right of their full time employees.” Growth in part time workers within companies as been evident within the European Union. In Europe part-time workers are significantly increasing according to Brewster and Hegewisch (1994, pg 173). “One in seven people in Europe are working part time and this as enabled employment growth in the last decade” therefore individuals gain benefits as there are more jobs. The reasons why individuals may prefer to work part time then full time may be because they may have other commitments such as balancing their work and home life which is known as work- life balance. Work life balance is where an individual can balance their social life and home life with their work life, all activities can be worked side by side. According to sparrow and cooper (2003) In Beardwell and Clayton (2007) work life balance concerns organisations that enable employees’ autonomy; this suggests that employees can split their work life with their other commitments outside of the workplace. Part time employees cannot be treated less favourably because they work less hours then the company standard even if they are not a part of the company’s day to day duties as long as that employee is......

How Accurate Is It to Describe the Era Before 1848 as 'the Time When Nothing Happened'?

...How Accurate is it to Summarise the Period Before 1848 as: ‘The Time when Nothing Happened’? Bismarck described the era before 1848 as ‘the time when nothing happened’ and to a certain degree it is true, however, a number of key events did occur that had long lasting effects on Germany that would come to hinder, advance and affect the pace and direction of unification. Friedrich I established Prussia as a kingdom, independent of its previous association as a Polish fief, Prussia expanded its borders massively into neighbouring states. Under Friedrich I Prussia emerged as one of the strongest military and economic powers in Europe proper. The strong economy and growing military reputation lay foundations for a strong, proud and militaristic culture. As a relatively new state it could learn from the mistakes of others and as a large state it could bully and manipulate its neighbours, but it was still a subordinate of Austria in the Holy Roman Empire and nowhere near powerful enough to contend Austria’s seat of dominance. The influence that Prussia gained allowed for a stronger Prussia later, the knowledge that Prussia was vastly superior to its neighbours aided in giving Prussians a sense of self-confidence that allowed them to make the exertive steps towards unifying Germany after 1815. From the 9th century until 1806, the Holy Roman Empire dominated the German states, a common language and a notably similar culture had developed and bound the member states together as......

Has the Time Come to Scrap the Human Rights Act?

...Has the time come to scrap the Human Rights Act? The Human Rights Act is a UK law passed by the Labour government in 1998. It means that you can defend your rights in the UK courts and that public organisations, including the Government, the police and local councils, must treat everyone equally, with fairness, dignity and respect. It incorporates the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) into British law and was set up so matters could be dealt with in British courts and people did not have the expense, and lengthy wait, of taking the case to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. The Conservative party believe that a British Bill of Rights is a much better alternative to the HRA whereas the Liberals truly believe that instead of scrapping it, it should be enhanced and strengthened. Although there are many benefits of having a HRA, the flaws outweigh the argument to keep it and should therefore be scrapped. One argument for the abolition of the HRA is that it makes it difficult to fight terrorism and maintain Law and Order. It is hard to do so as terrorist suspects are protected by one main aspect of the HRA, if there is the possibility of them being tortured when returned to their home country the ECHR can block their deportation. For example, in January 2012, Home Secretary Theresa May wished to have Abu Qatada (Osama bin Laden’s right hand man) deported back to Jordan in order to face a trial. However, the ECHR blocked the deportation of Abu Qatada......

Hiring Bias When Finding the Right Fit

...Hiring Bias When Finding the Right Fit March 31, 2014 You’ve just sat down with the next candidate for an open position at your company. The two of you get along right away and it turns out you have a lot in common. The more you talk, the more this candidate reminds you of yourself or someone you really like. You can easily imagine yourself spending time with this person after work. In fact, this candidate starts to remind you of a good friend –one you would like to hire. Most likely, you believe you’ve made a confident hiring decision based on objective criteria. Chances are, much of your decision was based on subjective factors. A study published in the American Sociological Review indicated that interviewers typically hire candidates they like. Who interviewers like is largely determined by perceived similarity between themselves and candidates. According to research by The Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity, the 2014 Implicit Bias Review suggests that such perceptions are often driven by implicit bias, “attitudes or stereotypes that affect our understanding, actions, and decisions in an unconscious manner.” You may try to rationalize your decision not to hire a specific candidate by saying that he or she wasn’t the right fit. But when the right fit is determined by implicit bias, you may end up discriminating against some candidates. Even though you may interview candidates who are qualified and present themselves well, you might still perceive them......

The Right Time to Lose a Patient

...The Right Time to Lose a Patient Although there is really never a right time to die or even witness death, it is important to acknowledge that death is a reality, and that all health care practitioners will be subjected to death at some point. For that reason, I raise the question; is there an appropriate time to lose a patient? From my perspective the answer is yes, and for good reason. Having recently finished twelve weeks of Internal Medicine, the first of my core third year rotations, I vividly remember the excitement I felt when walking into the hospital. I knew all the work I accomplished in the classroom was about to be put to good use. I had the opportunity to help interns, residents, and attendings to positively impact individuals’ lives. I would see patients with diseases that I had previously only encountered in textbooks, although I knew that these textbooks rarely highlight and explain the pain and suffering that accompany these pathologies. In fact, my studies to that point had left me with some naivete, which I must assume all medical students experience when first starting clinical work. We are excited to see cases we read about, although we often forget that many of these ailments take the lives of those afflicted. Throughout our education, we transform conditions into hypothetical situations, rarely developing an understanding of their severity. It is easy to regard a set of symptoms as fiction or case study, and it was only through experience......

...Does An Employer Have The Right To Utilize Information Posted On Social Networks When Making Employment Decisions? Michelle Mancuso Strayer University Online Business Policy – BUS 490 Robert M. Brown II May 29, 2011 Does An Employer Have The Right To Utilize Information Posted On Social Networks When Making Employment Decisions? Introduction Do employers have the right to use information posted on social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, and My Space for employment decisions? With the popularity of such websites, employers now have a no-cost way to look up a potential employee’s habits, etc. Employers are not only using them for potential employees, but also for their current staff. Some of what employers are looking at includes status postings, comments, and inappropriate or racy pictures. They are looking to get an idea of what this person does, how they conduct themselves, and whether or not this person is a good fit in their organization. There have been several lawsuits on this topic from employees that have been fired due to posts or pictures made to their facebook wall. This practice has not been deemed against the law, but there is much debate on how this information should or can be used. This paper will discus the pros and cons of using this type of information and also offer some suggestions on how to do it without being sued. Viewpoints Jonathon Bick, a Professor of Internet Law, feels an organization can utilize information......

Rights

...4/22/2012 POS 111 Unit 4, Question 3 Visit the websites below and then write an essay explaining the distinction between civil rights and human rights. Should the United States be bound by international law concerning human rights? The Merriam-Webster dictionary describes Civil Rights as the nonpolitical rights of a citizen especially the rights of personal liberty guaranteed to the United States citizens by the 13th and 14th amendments to the constitution and by acts of Congress. Our country has been dealing with the issue of civil rights since its existence. The first Civil Rights Act was passed in 1875 which allowed equal rights for African Americans but it was struck down in 1883 because the Supreme Court ruled that the Constitution can’t tell private businesses or any individual who to discriminate against. So the struggle for civil rights had to be fought harder. The promises that were made to protect civil rights in the Thirteenth Amendment were first kept then broken. Many states found their way around the flimsy wording of the Fourteenth Amendment. The case of Strauder v. West Virginia, the Supreme Court overturned a law keeping African Americans from jury duty but they refused to extend the amendment so that it contained a more narrow interpretation. One of the biggest segregation problems of our time led to a new era for civil rights which was the integration of the public school system. The NAACP, which is the National Association for the Advancement......
